Pherazone Pheromone Cologne
I recently had the “pleasure” of field testing the Pherazone Pheromone Cologne. Yes, I was being sarcastic when I used the word “pleasure.” If you actually thought the days of folks peddling snake oil over the net were over, well… read on.
Pherazone is apparently a very aggressively marketed “new” pheromone cologne, claiming to boast “the most pheromones per bottle” of anything else out on the market, blah blah blah…
I’ve said it before, I will say it again, new company’s that brag about their product solely containing the most “pheromones” per bottle are making an argument that usually falls upon my deaf ears. Why? Because it is not the pheromone content that counts, but how well blended those pheromone compounds are put together, in simplistic terms of course. Certain pheromone colognes that have very high Androstenone contents for example, are well known to do practically nothing but repel people! (see Pherlure). It’s the blend, not the amount that counts. So when I read Pherazone’s claims that;
“Reported to be the most powerful concentration of pheromones on marketplace today with a staggering 36 mg of pheromones per ounce”
I smile and ask, ya? aha, reported by whom? And 36 mgs of what specific pheromone compounds and what proportion of each? Hello!…..Echo!!!
First of all, let me say this, Pherazone is most likely one of the more expansive pheromone colognes on the market, with a single bottle going for $98.95, which is in itself enough to make me a little suspicious. Even well tested pheromone colognes that have proven their worth over “time” do not sell for $98.95, usually not even close! So when a new, little heard from company pops up out of no where trying to sell their new wonder product for nearly $100 bucks, I’m immediately a little suspicious right off the bat!
Luckly, I’m happy to say that my instincts are still well honed, as I found out quite promptly after ordering this stuff and giving it a number of tests in the real world, 14 field tests to be exact! I started out with one spray of this stuff to determine if, like Pherazone claimed, one single spray would;
“Just one spray of Pherazone drives women crazy!”
Needless to say, just one single spray got me virtually no results whatsoever so I quickly went up to two, and then three, and finally maxed myself out at five sprays over the course of a couple of weeks. The stuff does not smell bad or anything, it actually smell moderately pleasant, but that’s not what I paid nearly $100 bucks for, I want to see some pheromonal induced responses when I pay this kind of money for a pheromone cologne.
Without beating a dead horse here, I’m going to keep this short and to the point. I was able to observe at least 5 pheromonal induced responses over a two week period. Two were negative, at higher dosages, and 3 were positive while wearing lower dosages of Pherazone.
So did just one spray of Pherazone drive women crazy? Yeah, not even close! What impressed me the most was how weak and mild the actual responses I got were, especially while wearing a pheromone cologne boasting to contain the most pheromone content available on the market, blah blah blah…
Usually when I get positive responses do to a pheromone cologne, there is NO mistaking the fact that the ‘target’ is clearly ‘reacting’ to the pheromone cologne in question, with Pherazone, I had to wonder? Not really the sign of a good, quality pheromone product, but then again what did I expect from a little known new comer to the world of pheromone colognes trying to aggressively market a new product for nearly $100 bucks per bottle…?
Sounds like these folks are using the Pherlure strategy, sell as much as you can, as fast as you can, because once a customer uses the product he probably will NOT become a repeat customer!
And nor will I…

You’re absolutely right about Pherazone. This expensive half ounce bottle did absolutely nothing for me. No responses at all from anyone male or female. And the scent was weak when compared to other Pheromone colgnes I’ve tried. Their website shows various people boasting how Pherazone is guaranteed to work for you. They did a great job marketing this product but in reality it does nothing. It’s the wost of all the Pheromone products Ive tried but has been ranked number one on many Pheromone sites.

The stories I could tell you…Let’s just say Mr. Pherazone himself contact me about my review of Pherazone, threatening your humble Admin here with legal action because he thought I had some sort of problem with his product, (other than the fact the stuff doesn’t work I guess), anyhow the same individual trying to sell Pherazone also owns a least 3 new review sites he has created from what I can see, and he has ranked his own product as number 1 on each site, no conflict of interest there right lol….Anyhow, I did agree not to republish this review of his product to avoid a petty little legal squabble, but I did inform him that I completely stood behind this review…..And now you know why!

I applaud you for starting this whole blog for making the public aware that some of these so called pheromone products just don’t work and are highly marketed not to mention extremely expensive, to screw consumers like myself. People will do anything to make a buck these days at the consumer’s expense. It’s really quite disgusting.

I actually started this blog back in 2008, because at the time there were few folks out there telling the truth about pheromone products at all, I mean practically no voices of reason existed at all, so I decided to try to become the first. However, the web being what it is, folks such as Mr. Pherazone quickly moved in, initially by coyping and perverting the material on this very site in their attempts to pervert the information I had compiled for their own self gain, without any regard to actually “telling the truth!”
The said truth of the matter is that folks such as Mr. Pherazone, have probably not even used any or all of the pheromone products they review, they simply want to move their product, period, whether that product is good or bad. Yes, it is frustrating to watch, especially for any experienced pheromone enthusiast, as folks that have actually used these pheromone products can read reviews written by folks like Mr. Pherazone, and easily conclude in about 30 seconds the guy has no clue what he is actually talking about. But unfortunately it’s the newbie consumer that pays the real price because of these type of sharks out there.

I actually was not going to be the one to call out Mr. Pherazone’s little sites, but since you easily found the connection lol. Anyhow, yes you are quite right, and to the best of my knowledge you have found at least two of his 5 or 6 sites he has going. But cut the guy a break! He had to create his own pheromone review sites so his own product would be highly ranked! God knows I wasn’t going to highly rank it! LoL
As I said, I did include in my email to Mr. Pherazone a question about this possible “conflict of interest,” I simply received no response from him, go figure?
Although if I were you Mike I would certainly be contacting Pherazone for well-deserved refund, just my two cents.
On the flip side you said two of my highly recommended pheromone colognes seemed to well for you? (No shock there), but I’m assuming you are referring to the Scent of Eros and Alpha 7 ? If so, very sound choices, and both are included and highly utilized in my own personal arsenal, unlike Pherazone which found it’s way into my waste basket.

After viewing those two sites which Mike was kind enough to reference, that type of conduct is nothing more than a scam, and most likely is actually illegal! A product owner declaring his product to be the best in the world, on his own review site! Good God what next?

Had you not shared your experience with these Pherazone Scammers, I to would have become their next victim, as I found this review as I was about to make a Pherazone purchase! I must admit I’m a little shocked at receiving so many comments regarding a new pheromone cologne of which I published a rather poor performance review on. I can only assume more than a handful of folks out there feel they have been USED by Pherazone and are rightfully unhappy about that, or folks are more insulted by Mr. Pherazone’s tactics (rating his own product as number #1 on his own little mini-network of review sites) without disclosing this connection to would be victims….I mean, consumers…Excuse me!
Fear not Jim, if you are looking for a real pheromone cologne that actually delivers what Pherazone’s marketing hype is spamming around the web, I would encourage you to read up on Alpha 7, what I personally use daily. Just think of something like Alpha 7 being as a Cadillac, compared to something like Pherazone being a skateboard, with a loose wheel.

Yeah dog nice blog post! I’m guilty as charged, Im a victim since I bought some of this pherazone to! You know how it is a new product comes out an people wanna try the stuff just in case its as good as the people selling it say it is. Fine the joke was on me since pherazone didnt do jack!! But listen someone should really report these fools, these pherazone people are nothing but scammers dog! For REAL! I just searched for PHERAZONE and scrolled down like 10 pages, look at all the review sites this dudes created just to push his own crap product lol. Its just SO WRONG! Just want to say I have followed your little blog for a little over two years now, back when as you said you were the first honest voice of reason out there on the web discussing pheromones. Acting on your advice over past couple of years I’ve had great success with at least 9 different pheromone colognes, with about 95% satisfaction, so your site is a permanent fixture in my Google Reader!
Having said that I’m very sorry that you had to be subjected to the unwarranted attack by a Scammer, lets call it what it is folks, the “gentleman” over at Provenpheromones.com and Pheromone-Reports.com is clearly nothing more than a Scammer, preying upon those who are not yet experience enough with pheromones to know they are being fed a bunch of bull!
But look at it this way, because of scammers like Mr. Pherazone out there (lol), your blog is all that much more important to provide much needed balance, accuracy, and above all honesty!

I’m not sure if here is the correct place to comment, but I have a question? I’m a 43 year old professional male, and I as well tried Pherazone, clearly and obvious mistake but I plead ignorance, it was my first pheromone cologne purchase ever. It’s become more than clear to me that Pherazone is not doing anything for me, it’s been a couple of weeks now and I’ve noticed nothing, I thought it was just me, apparently not! Could you please point me in the right direction? What pheromone would be good for a 43 year old caucasian male to use during work as well as out socially? Thank you for your help!
Hi Jon, I feel rather bad that Pherazone was your very first pheromone purchase, please don’t judge them all by your experience with Pherazone.
As for a good pheromone product for a middle aged gentleman, there are actually many good choices out there. I’ll repeat my previous recommendation to another reader here, I would strongly recommend for a variety of reasons that you start by reading up on the Scent of Eros and then Alpha 7. The reason why I like to see you start with those two products is because they are both VERY Powerful and Very User Friendly! In addition, they compliment each other very well when used as a combo, I’m speaking from personal experience here, the Alpha 7 + SOE combo does not disappoint, and it’s actually what I use myself daily when not field testing other pheromone colognes, and you know I don’t wear the garbage when I’m using a pheromone product for my OWN purposes. Hiya! Just wanna say I bought this pherazone stuff to but not for me for my boyfriend. We’ve lived together awhile now an I wanted to get him something to spice up our sex life a little, frankly to help me want to get close and physical more often with him, obviously it hasn’t worked, even when I lay next to him in bed wearing it, I’m just feeling nothing??? Now I’m mad an frustrated an I feel totally exploited by that man at pherazone, $100 bucks is not a joke for some people especially when they actually believed that the stuff could help them out a little. Thats all I dont know what else to say.

Hi all! I agree what a joke! I just came over from Hub Pages, I was reading a review about PHERAZONE over there claiming it was the greatest stuff on Earth, this same author had another Hub I also read claiming Pherlure was the cats meow? Even I knew Pherlure was a straight scam! From there I was lead to the Pherazone site, but since I questioned this authors credibility (claiming Pherlure was good???), I searched for Pherazone too and your site popped up!
All I got to say is thank goodness I didn’t get burned, and this Mr. Pherazone dude is a serious Scammer with NO CREDIBILITY at all! He’s PUSHING KNOWN scam products and do so without remorse! I honestly question if this dude has ever even used any of his reviewed pheromone products, because it seems even I know more than him, and that’s really not saying much!
After reading around here I decided to give the Alpha 7 scented a try, sounds like good stuff, how much should I use of it, to start I mean?

By the way if you go to You Tube and type in Pherazone under search you’ll see a number of ads, one is a woman with blonde hair and a French accent saying how great this stuff is. Another ad had a guy with a British accent telling how a bunch of women in his yoga class are all attracted to him – yeah right! Now try and leave a comment on either of these ads and guess what? The guy (no doubt Mr. Pherazone) will put a block on you and your comment will not get posted. Gees I wonder how many blocks he’s put on unhappy customers? You Tube should be notified of this scammer.

I love how Pherazone declares with no proof of course, that they are the best selling pheromone cologne in Europe! Ya, right! You know I’ve been think about the interest in this product, most reviews of bad pheromone products don’t generate this much interest or participation, which suggests to me that perhaps a lot of folks have been scammed by Pherazone? Just spit balling here, I could be wrong of course, but I don’t think so!
After reading some of these comments I simply Googled the word Pherazone, yes folks are correct, it appears that Mr. Pherazone is out busily publishing new positive reviews on Pherazone pretty much as fast as he can type! I wonder why?
But I also was pleasantly pleased to see a new emerging site in the pheromone world called bestratedpheromones.com. It’s clearly a brand new affiliate marketing site focused on a few pheromone products, which I have no problem with. Why this site caught MY EYE, is because this website owner has decided to do the unprofitable thing and actually ALSO just tell the simple TRUTH about some of these products, including PHERAZONE!
This does make me rather happy, I thought I was all alone there for a moment, but as far as I know it’s nice to see that there at least two sites out there attempting to honestly review pheromone products, for quite awhile it was only ME! Of course, it probably only a matter of time before Mr. Pherazone contacts and threatens to SUE the folks over at Best Rated Pheromones as he did me, I only hope that they stand their ground as well…Welcome to the community, and thank for telling the truth!

As I sit here at work wearing pherazone and wondering why my female co-worker do not notice me today, as usual, pull up Bing and to try to find the pherazone site again to see if I missed read the instruction on how to use this stuff, and I find this lovely blog instead. Thanks for 411, no more wondering for me, just chucked the bottle of this magnificent potion in the trash bin under my desk!
I’m just curious would you recommend the scented or uncented “Scent Of Eros”? I would imagine you would recommend scented if used in conjuncion with Alpha 7. If used by itself which would you recommend?
Good question Josh,
Personally, I use the scented versions of both the Scent of Eros and Alpha 7, and yes these are quality products that seem to compliment each other very well in both performance and even scent. The do not smell the same, the Scent of Eros has a very light but sweet smell which women seem to love, and Alpha 7 has a light but musky smell which women also seem to like, but when worn together it blends as a nice overall smell.
So for me, I just stick with the scent versions for both products, but if your the type of guy that wants to use his own regular cologne as a cover scent for some reason, then you could just use the unscented version of either or both, but personally I don’t bother to do this, it’s really a matter of personal preference I suppose. Hope that helps.

Hopefully, people interested in purchasing pheromones will see this blog and will realize that a product like Pherazone is crap. I only wish I had seen it before purchasing it. I wore some today and stood right by a beautiful young lady at the supermarket with no response from her at all. By the way I just purchased a bottle of NPA to go with my Scent of Eros. Guess NPA is quite potent stuff. Would one small dab behind my ear be sufficient? I’d be adding Scent of Eros as well on my neck.

Wow, yeah NPA for Men is some powerful stuff to say the very least, and not real user friendly like Alpha 7, but once you master it, it can really work wonders! So longs as you are wearing a good amount of Scent of Eros, you “may” be ok wearing up to two dabs of NPA at your age, but I would definitely start at one good dab and then slowly work my way up from there…Oh, at your age dont even think about wearing NPA alone, you will be out there intimidating folks lol.
Thanks for the tips Kyle. At first I was just planning on putting on a small dab of NPA and using about a five inch line of a Scent Of Eros on my arm of neck. I might even try alternating using a regular colgne such as Calvin Klein’s latest called “One Summer” with NPA. That is if it mixes well with it.
Sounds like a good plan Josh, but if I remember right you’re a younger guy, so just remember to go heavier on that Scent of Eros lol, and start with maybe 1 good dab of NPA, only then would you work your way up…Depending upon the weather of course, I usually go with a 6″ strip of Scent of Eros on each forearm, while wearing short sleeves of course, and then in the case of NPA, follow up with 1 or 2 dabs behind each ear, but in your case perhaps 1 generous dab split between both ears….As I said with NPA, will require a tad bit of experimentation to find that sweet spot for you.

No problem with that, I’m not to far behind you I think…Well look at this way, strong Androstenone colognes like Alpha 7 or NPA are easier for folks our age to use anyhow, less intimidation factor.
Put on a Scent Of Eros on both arms (6 inch strip) and added a very tiny dab of NPA behind each ear. The hole in the NPA bottle is very small so possibly I didn’t really get a nice full dab on my finger. I noticed no extra attention using either of these products when standing close to women in my local supermaket. By the way I noticed NPA smells mostly like alcohol which must be what’s mixed in with the Androstenone. There was no unpleasant urine or BO smell that I could detect.
Hey Josh, what you are saying does make some sense, I think I remember thinking you were 24 years old originally for some reason…No worries, for us old folks (I include myself in that), we can and need to go higher usually on Androstenone, much more than a strapping young buck in his early twenties…
What I would recommend, since you did go ahead and get the NPA for Men, which I made pretty clear is great once you find your sweet spot, but is not user friendly like Alpha 7, and thus takes some experimentation to find ones correct dosage, I think I did write that, right? LoL…Now you see why….Do this, use the SOE exactly as you have done, except now you’ll have to be patient and actually wait for that NPA to slowly roll out it’s bottle (I know it’s slow), get at least 1 good size dab to the finger and then apply one behind each ear and rub it in…You may have to repeat and even go up to 2 1/2 or even 3 dabs, no way around it it will take a little experimentation with NPA before you find your sweet spot, even did for me which I noted in it’s review…
As you move up in dosage more appropriate for your age, keep in mind NPA itself is not naturally buffered like Alpha 7 (see intimidation factor – for higher doses), which should be slightly counter acted by the SOE, but of course not entirely…Therefore, wearing NPA, you may need to actually “do something…” Stand by a lady and at least make eye contact and smile, say hello, perhaps even make an excuse to have a conversation in certain cases, in other words you will have to do something to break the ice with that stuff, more than just standing next to a women in a supermarket…With prolonged contact especially you should see changes in behavior towards you, but you have to find an excuse to be around most ladies for a minute or two, and appear open and inviting to conversation…Unlike most marketing out there women will “usually” not simply attack a man who is not talking to them but just standing there next to them (they don’t lose their free will with pheromones), but pheromones simply magnify and enhance ones appeal, making others much more receptive to your behavior…But you may have to behave in a certain why to at least get some ones initial attention…This is why I have such good results while making sales calls, think about it, I’m trapped in a small office with a lady, with an excuse to conversate for 30-45 minutes…You need to put yourself in a suitable situation where you can utilize the advantage you have applied…Make sense?
Anyhow, you had a good and typical 1st day with something like NPA, just work on your age appropriate increased dosage level, with the SOE of course, and find an excuse to engage in pleasant conversation at the very least, that’s when you see the real results with this stuff…Keep in mind even if you take a bath in pheromones, if you don’t at least look open and approachable or friendly, you will be shooting yourself in the foot…Would you approach an attractive women in the supermarket without some kind of invitation from her to do so?? Most guys don’t, even if they are attracted and they would like to…Keep this in mind, but in reverse of course…An invitation verbally or even with body language can obviously work wonders, for a man, or a women.
Thanks for the advice Kyle. I realize pheromones won’t have women peeling off their clothes right there on the spot or approaching a man directly and that they are basically enhancers as so to speak. The don’t guarantee anything but do give you an edge when it comes to breaking the ice with women.
Glad you understand that…The problem is some folks read the lovely sales copy put out there by hype masters like Pherazone for instance, and have completely unrealistic expectations…Not that these folks are to blame for this because certain folks have put so much hype out there, that’s bound to happen.
This is one way I look at pheromones (the ones that do work) and act accordingly; On a scale of 1 – 10 with 10 being the most attractive (however you want to quantify that), if you are hypothetically a “5″ on that 1 – 10 scale, pheromones will generally cause an affected women to view you as being a 6.5 or 7 on that same scale…Of course, what you do with that advantage is still usually up to you lol…
You will however encounter what I have termed to be “hyper responders,” my own term I think? Basically, eventually you will run into a small percentage of women who just react intensely to pheromones, it’s over the top, it’s amusing to watch, and you will not be able to miss it, but the majority are not ‘hyper responders,’ so sadly we must still be “inviting” to a degree lol.

But just thought I’d let you know took you up on the advice to try scent of eros and alpha 7, had to get the unscented alpha 7 but your right, this is some powerful shit! To compare what I got now to Pherazone – well, just no comparison this stuff works and I still dont know what if anything pherazone does.

I had posted the same comment on one of his other videos with the same brunette bimbo, one with alot of views and it was never posted. By the way, I’m still trying to get that first hit with the SOE and NPA combo but so far no luck. Maybe the age factor has something to do with it. It’s anyone’s guess.
Well, that doesn’t really surprise me much, I think it’s pretty clear by this point that Pherazone appears to be a scam product, and the Pherazone product owners review site over at ProvenPheromones.com is nothing more than a scam site as well created to pimp Pherazone lol…
I am curious about your effort to get your first hit though, you are wearing so very powerful stuff Josh, temperamental in the case of NPA, but nonetheless some very powerful stuff…I even have to be very careful when I try to use NPA…If it’s not to personal of course, I would be curious to know your age range, and your target groups age range…It would also be a little helpful if you could let me know what type of setting you are around these ladies in (work, social, church, whatever), and how long you are around your targets…Would shed some light on this for me, because getting no hit from NPA especially is not something I hear to often, lets try an figure this out, if your willing to share of course.

Just thought I’d let you know they deleted my comment on Pharazone (the one with the brunette with about fifty something views). Now there’s a new video posted on You Tube of a guy named Rick spewing out the same b.s. about Pharazone.
Not a shock…The good folks over at Pherazone, aka ProvenPheromones.com, all the same dude, must have slipped up when they let your first comment actually get posted…Either that or he was distracted by all a flood of email from pissed off people demanding there money back, who knows, but it wouldn’t surprise me either way.
Some readers and commentators here may remember that I gave props to a new affiliate site called Best Rate Pheromones.com back on 4/27/10, because they were at that time the only “other” site out their telling the truth about the Pherazone Pheromone Cologne…I gave this new little site props, and even some link love for those that remember, but I also did comment;
“Of course, its probably only a matter of time before Mr. Pherazone contacts and threatens to SUE the folks over at Best Rated Pheromones as he did me, I only hope that they stand their ground as well…”
This was back on 4/27/10 folks…Just out of curiosity I popped over to visit the folks at Best Rated Pheromones.com to see how their new site has been coming along, guess what, the original review they did on Pherazone is now mysteriously gone? The review that I gave them props for having the courage to publish simply vanished, and what do I find in it’s place???

Although, I do find one little thing a tad bit odd about your unusual success with Pherazone…
So far Mike, you are the only individual I have heard from here, or other forums that have had anything good to say about good ole Pherazone, nothing wrong with that mind you, but what I find a little odd is that after looking up your IP Address which as you know is left when one leaves a comment on any site, I’m told your IP Address originated from a familiar area within Los Angeles, California…
Why is this odd? Well Mike P., it’s only odd because I’ve approved many comments before yours from all across the U.S., and even one from the UK, but never a comment from someone in Los Angeles, California….You may or may not be aware that the product owner, who folks now refer to as Mr. Pherazone, who is also the owner of the scam review site called Proven Pheromones. com (among a handful of other sites floating around out there – created to pimp Pherazone), well that product owner Mr. Pherazone apparently also hail from Los Angeles, California…Not only that, he apparently shares an IP Address with you Mike P, you guys even share the same neighborhood based upon your IP Address!
So how do I know this? When Mr. Pherazone was kind enough to contact me via his Face Book page when he was threatening to SUE ME over publishing this Pherazone review, he disclosed all his real information to me in the process, information that I would not of course disclose publically here, as that would be just plain wrong to do, I respect folks privacy!
But I do find it odd, that the only person to leave a good comment about Pherazone, hails from the same State (California), the same city within that large State, (Los Angeles), and is located in the same geographic area of Los Angeles as Mr. Pherazone himself???
Of course, all this could just be coincidence of course? So I will welcome the first comment from the great State of California!
This is a PS Post folks.
In the interest of disclosure I have decided to share what has occurred since I last commented here regarding this post…Within literally minutes of Mike P’s post, the individual that just so happens to reside in the same IP Address as Mr. Pherazone himself, after pointing this information out here I received at least 3-4 more comments from different IP Addresses all praising the effectiveness of Pherazone, and accusing me of such vile things as libeling good ole Pherazone itself.
After much hysterical laughter on my part, I opted to simply push the “Trash” button on those comments, something I rarely have to do! However, it was more than blatantly obvious that Mr. Pherazone, or one of his minions decided to use a proxy application to disguise his true IP Address (very easily done), and then came here to post fake comments to further Pimp Pherazone. I may be a little slow, but I was not born yesterday! And it was so blatantly obvious what he was doing it took me several minutes to restrain my hysterical laughter.
Mr. Pherazone is clearly trying to clean up the image of Pherazone, which I can understand, but don’t shoot the messenger, make a better product! Perhaps this concept is foreign to some folks these days?
Anyhow, if Mr. Pherazone wishes to contact me regarding this review, which I fully stand behind, and apparently so do quite a few other victims as well, he may feel free to contact me once again to discuss this review in a civilized fashion…However, let it be known that I do not, nor ever will respond well to threats, intimidation tactics, nor demands from anyone trying to hawk their wares out there. Had Mr. Pherazone approached me in a more civilized manner, I may have even listened to his argument…But by responding to the messenger with threats, and by creating numerous blogs, published articles all under different names to further Pimp Pherazone, well, let’s just say I don’t respond to such tactics.
With thus being said, I am now closing comments on the Pherazone thread…I Mr. Pherazone can try to bury the truth regarding his product all he wants, he can publish great reviews of Pherazone on all the scam review sites he has created and controls, but this site will not be a part of it.
