Do pheromones Work? If you have found yourself wandering the net, asking yourself the same question as thousands of other folks, do pheromones work? Then you have found the site that will strive to answer that question and set you straight on the real deal about pheromone products for men and women alike. I would strongly suggest not purchasing any pheromone product until you read the results of my human pheromone reviews!
Starting my research into the world of human pheromones back in December, 2007, I was originally frustrated by the fact that there is very little in the way of conclusive scientific evidence Per Se, that these products work, or do not work.
As a matter of fact, the only two conclusions I was able to draw after reading through the findings of a number of clinical trials, is that there are basically two schools of thought on the whole matter.
The 1st School of Thought
“They simply don’t know, insufficient clinical studies specific to humans.”
The 2nd School of Thought:
“Pheromones do effect certain people, but we don’t conclusively know to what extent, nor why some people respond to them and others do not.”
That’s the bottom-line on the issue of pheromones, as far as the scientific community goes at the moment. We must face facts, human beings are complex animals, scientific progress to rise to the level of scientific “proof” will take time.
So, Do Pheromones Really Work? Or Not?
Needless to say, I was not going to be satisfied with the available knowledge provided by the few clinical studies conducted to date. So I decided to conduct my own empirical review of a number of pheromone products.
In net effect, I searched for information online to aid me in identifying some of the top pheromone products currently on the market, including information gathered from some long time pheromone enthusiasts, and compiled my initial list. I then ordered the products and simply used them in the real world while carefully taking notes, and documenting my observations concerning others behavior, assuming there was anything to document at all of course. Yes, I used the good old fall back method, the empirical method of evaluation;
“depending upon experience or observation alone, without using scientific method or theory, esp. as in medicine.”
So What Happened? Do Pheromones Work?
In starting this site, I decided to take a more balanced approach. I’m not going to draw conclusions for the reader here. Every thinking individual should have the ability to make up his or her own mind as to answering the question, do pheromones work?, for themselves!
What I will do on this site, is simply publish, post by post, my field testing narrative, observations, and possible theories to the results or lack of results, and then let my readers draw their own conclusions.
I will publish each pheromone products field test results in the pages which follow, roughly 43 pheromone colognes for men, and another 13 pheromone products, pheromones for women to attract men! That’s currently 56 field tested products and counting!

Hey, First i would like to say amazing website very helpful, you got all my respect from this site thanks for your hard work.
Now I am 22 years old middle eastern and i have been playing around and having fun with pheromones for about 4 years now and i love it. But sadly i hoped i stumbled on ur site back then i would have saved my self alot of time and money on most of the crappy phero products out there but all is good.
My collection that i have right now are SOE , Alpha 7 and i just purchased MAG and Nude alpha after reading your reviews, tried MAG with SOE and it was just magic! Still waiting for Nude alpha to arrive.
I have a couple of questions, I have a gf and shes been away for about a month & 1/2 and i was wondering would it be wise to use MAG & SOE on her when she gets back or should i just use Nude alpha stand alone or Alpha 7 & SOE??
My second question is i was wondering when i am out with my guy friends and i have pheros on and we go to a club usually girls pass by and stare at our direction but they dont seem to pinpoint on me lets say, i see an ex-precision on their face as if there looking for the person with the pheros but cant just find him, i am guessing its because i am in a group because when its only me the girl usually stares as if she cant take her eyes off.

If you have already successful used the Scent of Eros + Alpha 7 around your GF, then I would just go back wearing that for when she arrives. It’s a definitely “GF” type of mix I’ve found, and she will probably be expecting to detect that vibe upon you on her return. As for using Max Attraction on your own GF when she gets back? That’s really complete over kill, and not necessary, save the MAG for your nights out in the bars or dance clubs, not to pheromone your own girlfriend, in this case! LoL
As for your concern about reactions you get when with a group of other guys, the solution is very simple, figured this out years ago, get in their face! Seriously, if a you are in a group and you see the girl staring at your group clearly responding to the initial faint signs of your pheromone, be bold, walk over to her and get in her face and simply say “Hi! My name’s Taz! How are you doing?” Trust me, after you have closed the distance with such a gal she will have no trouble telling which guy she was being drawn to!

I didn’t mention anything about Nude Alpha because you are already invested with other pheromone colognes so far as your girlfriend is concerned.
However, if you wish to dabble with Nude around “other” ladies at this point then I think you will get some very good results, especially if you combine it with the Scent of Eros you already have on hand.
But as I said, so far as the GF goes, usually best to stick with what you already know works for you!

Well, since you basically just described myself as well, I would have to say yes obviously! lol
I’ve gotten the best results to this day utilizing the Scent of Eros as my base or foundation, and then applying either Aqua Vitae,Max Attraction, or Alpha 7 Scented on top of that…Which of those three will work best for you, think of it this way, Max Attraction for quick action is alpha heavy environments (bars, nightclubs, dance clubs, house parties etc.,.), Alpha 7 Scented for slower but much deeper connections (think potential girlfriend, or to foster a long term relationship from the early stages), and Aqua Vitae being a compromise between these other two, both hard hitting for a quicker reaction as well as good for developing the longer term relationship.

Thanks Kyle for everything… Another thing… Ive been using soe for about a week now.. and i tested it… it works welll… so what i did was.. i used the soe daily for college and i did not change my personality so that it wouldnt affect on the results, like i waesn´t smiling more o anything.. in general im a good looking guy but people say that i have a sharp look or whatever that means, like they often say they are intimidated by me for whatever the reason is… using the scent of eros ive notice every single person its nicier to me.. like everybody wants to be my friend.. everybody is looking for my approval..like im the center of attention .. male and female.. this thing is great… as for the sexual part.. when i walk into a room i always notice from 10 girls 8 turn without seeing me .. as if they can smell me… and they all keep staring …
Great stuff on the soe.. so the results that ive experienced so far is that what the soe do? or is it just me…. another thing.. ive been using 1 six inch stripe on each forearm..and about 6 inches more in my neck.. is that too much? what is the top one can use so you dont get reverse results…
And if i buy AQUA VITAE. do you think this would be a good combination for me? how much of it i should use and where.. and should i
lower the dose os SOE then.. or just keep using the same plus whatever u tell me to wear from AQUA VITAE:.

Good to hear the Scent of Eros is working out well for you, I like it to, it’s good stuff.
And yes, your results so far are fairly typical of SOE, it’s a strong social lubricator, so folks will tend to be friendlier, more comfortable and chatty around you in general, and the stuff does carry a pretty good distance, I’ve had girls pick it up 50 feet down wind of me outside on occasion lol.
As for your dosage level, as always do what works best for “you!” However, yeah you are going a little high on the SOE, I generally stop myself at two 6 inch strips, but honestly if you go with 3 applications there is no risk of O.D. with a social lubricator, you just use up your supply faster, but it’s safe to do so.
As for you trying out Aqua Vitae, it really depends upon what you are going for? Sounds like you already have a good Alpha vibe going naturally, as you mentioned some folks are usually intimidated by you, so you maybe one of those people who are just better of with the social lubricators?
However, if you are specifically looking spice up the sexual attraction element, either Max Attraction or Aqua Vitae sounds like they would be good matches for you, just not sure how much pulling power you are really looking for, or need???
so basically what your are saying is that pheromones work better in people that you dont know.. or people that do not know you that well. ?
Basically yes. As a general rule people who have the lest amount of preconceived notions about you are most easily swayed to accept the more positive, enhanced pheromonal version of you so to speak.
So if the person already knows you well, or thinks they do, for better or for worse, you will have a hard time changing their established perception of you using pheromones alone. It can be done, but not that easily and it’s usually a much longer term and slower process. Peoples impressions just don’t change that quickly! It’s easier in many ways to create a new great impression with someone new, then it is to rehabilitate an angry ex-girlfriends perception of you!

People who know you very well, and who already have strong preconceived notions about you are the slowest to be effected by your use of a new pheromone. They will sense something different about you, but will quickly dismiss it usually, because in their mind the already know you, and what you are all about so to speak.
I wouldn’t rely on pheromones to get you out of this little mess…

However, if you are thinking (like many younger guys do) that you really want to jump in with the more potent sexual attractant pheromones like Max Attraction or Aqua Vitae for instance, than that is a different matter. Yes, you could of course make a good go of utilizing MAG, but as I’ve said many times before (especially at your age), you best buffer the stuff with SOE at the very least. So long as you are will to wear a social lubricator with the MAG then you could do well…If not, than just stick with SOE + Nude Alpha, much safer.

So I would like to know what you would recommend for me, so here are
the details:
So I’m a 19 years old, I’m Asian, I play hockey (which is the biggest
part of my life right now), I train and workout a lot, and I have a
toned body. I’m not shy but I;m not overly outgoing. I love talking to
all people, and have no problem talking with girls, but I’m not one of
those guys who’s able to put on a show and have them laughing and
hugging me after the first encounter. I’m more the laid back type, and
I try to be like the “cool guy” rather then the loud stand up comedian
type that’s always hungry for attention. My friends say I’m really
“white washed” (based on my personality, the fact that I play hockey,
my body type, the fact that I only speak English, the way I dress
etc.) So basically I’m a white guy trapped in an asian guys body lol.
The next important point is that I strictly like White Girls (around
my age). I’m hardly ever interested in asians. This kind of sucks for
me since it’s not expected. I find a lot of Asian girls approach me
thinking that I would be interested since I’m also asian, but again
I’m usually not attracted to them. And I find the opposite happens
with white girls, I find that they don’t approach me since they see
that I’m asian. So basically I have to make the first move when it
comes to White girls, which is fine, but it would be nice to have that
extra boost of attraction. Also, White girls are more openly sexual,
which I love, but I think they are more reserved when they interact
with me because I’m Asian (since people see asians as the type that
aren’t as openly sexual, awkward, and shy about that stuff). So I feel
being asian works against me when it comes to white girls :l
I would want a pheromone that brings a really good social vibe, but I

The Scent of Eros + Max Attraction.
Normally, I would not recommend something so potent for a young man of 19 years old, HOWEVER, the problem that most Asian males have is they produce THE LOWEST amount of natural pheromones of any known ethnic group, or so at least I have been informed by folks in the business of pheromone research.
What does this mean? In essence, you are at a natural, or pheromonal disadvantage right off the bat if you are trying to pursue white girls, african american girls, or latin american girls, big time! However, your pheromonal output is in line with what we know about the tolerances of Asian females (who are often intimidated by folks with high pheromone counts, which is why social lubricators work so well on Asian females, but sexual attractants are more tricky around them).
Anyhow, off topic, sorry. In your specific case, you need to essentially increase your pheromone signature so that it is much higher than the normal Asian male, this is why (despite your young age) I would say the SOE + MAG combo would be a good start for you…However, if you were not an Asian male, at 19 years of age, such a combo would often lead to O.D…But I would bet that it will be safe for you.

1) Should I use both SOE and MAG all the time, or only in social events, bars, parties etc? Would I be accurate to say that SOE is good alone for school/work environments?
2) Do I need to store these in the fridge or any specific environments?
3) Do they expire or loose their scents? Because I feel I would want to use them sparingly and not every single day. Basically save them for the “big nights” sort of speak.
4) Do you think I will need another cologne to put on top of the SOE + MAG combo? (I doesn’t seem so but I thought I’d ask anyways :P)

How frequently you use any pheromone cologne is totally up to you, it’s a matter of personal preference. Some folks use it all the time, at work or school for instance, while others only apply it prior to social engagements, you will have to decide the frequency of usage for yourself….Yes, SOE is totally safe for work or school environments and can be worn alone to good effect as well…As for wearing both SOE + MAG, again up to you, try wearing both where you wish, gauge the reactions of others then see if it’s appropriate for daily wear…However, personally I go heavy on MAG specifically during social occasions, but that’s me, others wear it daily, again, a matter of preference.
With SOE, no, just keep it out of the hot sun and the stuff seems to last for months. As for MAG, yes if you keep in the frig inbetween uses it will extend the life of the bottle. However, I usually go through most bottle of MAG long before the stuff starts to dilute at all so I don’t have this problem…But I guess if you are only using MAG once in awhile, and making one bottle last for months, than you would want to store it in the fridge to keep it potent.
I hear you…SOE, don’t worry about it, just keep out of the sun, or a hot car etc.,..MAG, if you are only going to use it for those “big nights,” then yes, throw the stuff in the fridge and you should be fine.
So long as you are using the Scent of Eros (SCENTED VERSION), which I strongly recommend that you do, you really will not even need any other regular cologne. You will understand what I mean when you smell SOE Scented for the first time, pretty much everyone loves the smell, and it covers other colognes like MAG very well, problem solved…As for bothering with any regular cologne? Seriously, why bother? Regular colognes smell nice, but truthfully they DON’T DO ANYTHING! Pheromone colognes on the other hand do.

Mixing the Scent of Eros (Scented Version) along with Max Attraction is actually a great combo, effect wise as well as scent wise…The SOE actually tends to mask the more pheromonal smell of the MAG, thus they work very well together.
However, as to your reasons for looking into pheromones in general, I must just say this, if you are good friends with a certain lady at the moment, there may be a reason why you are only “good friends?” Pheromones by themselves will not change the “basic” dynamic between you two alone, just keep that in mind.

have always had quite a confusing time with these pheromone stuff and
hence I have a few questions to ask you related to a bunch of topics.
1. You had always been mentioning a combo of Scent of Eros and Max
Attraction. Is there a reason for it? Is it always better to have that
combo than applying only one of them?
2. I had used Chikara last year and didnt find any effect with it.
Thats when I actually thought these were all a scam. But looking at
your website, I started trusting them again. I was also not sure if I
was applying these colognes in the correct way. So, what is the best
way to apply these colognes? Is it better to put it on our skin
directly or in our clothes. All the websites seem to confuse me with
it.
3. I also found that you mentioning that Scent of Eros being a social
enhancer. I m basically quite a friendly and active person. Is there
any colognes/combo which you will suggest me to try out?
4. What are the correct times to apply these colognes? Is it something
we apply to us daily or is it for specific occasions like partying and

5. I use Axe Masculino deodrant everyday, which already has an awesome
scent and stuff. If I end up applying a cologne (or a combo of

Don’t worry you have not asked to many questions, and I’ll try to answer them the best I can to hopefully clear things up for you a little bit…Okay, lets just get started…
You asked;
Yes, there is a reason for it. Generally speaking, using layman’s terms here of course, there are two predominant types of pheromone colognes, the first class are social lubricators, and the second are sexual attractants. Each class tends to induce different vibes, or reactions from other folks.
The Scent of Eros, Beaches, Certo, and even to a degree Nude Alpha are basically “social lubricators.” They are the type of pheromone colognes which induce others to be more friendly, chatty, and comfortable around you (the wearer), basically causing people to actually ‘want’ to socialize with you to a higher degree….The importance of this “should” be self explanatory, if someone does not wish to stick around long enough to even chat with you, you will have hard time developing any kind of more meaningful relationship, usually.
Max Attraction, Alpha 7, Aqua Vitae, and Alfa Maschio, just to name a few of the top ones, are all “sexual attractants.” The primary result of utilizing sexual attractants is to create a strong “Alpha Male” type sexual vibe, inducing others to perceive you as more of a man’s man, if that makes sense, as if you had higher levels of social status, rank, importance, all in addition to that coveted “sexual attraction” vibe.
However, sexual attractants containing androstenone do have one side effect which can at times be problematic, it’s called the O.D. factor, or an Androstenone O.D., basically when higher levels are applied the wearer can generate levels of intimidation in both males and females. In very high levels one can generate out right hostility from other males for instance. Anyone who as experienced an O.D. knows it can be frustrating trying to talk with a lady who is intimidated by you to a degree in which she actively tries to avoid you in some cases.
The solution to this, I discovered long ago through trial and error at the time, was to simply wear a potent “social lubricator,” along with a potent “sexual attractant.” Why? Because the social lubricator (Scent of Eros, Certo, Beaches, Nude Alpha etc etc), will GREATLY reduce the whole “intimidation factor” which naturally can occur while using the potent “sexual attractants!”
This is why I recommend both, for maximum results, unless you enjoy negative reactions, or being ignored in some cases altogether.
That does not surprise me at all, as you may have read here, I’m not a big fan of Chikara, but it has in the past sold well, which is why you see other websites still pimping the stuff, even though it doesn’t work well, it sells! Such factors don’t usually motivate me however, because unlike some other folks out there I actually use this stuff, if I wouldn’t wear it anymore, why recommend it to my readers?
Best way to apply pheromone colognes? Generally speaking of course, they are best applied to the skin, typically to the side of the neck (like a regular cologne), and/or to the forearms.
For instance, I personally apply one full spray of Max Attraction for instance to each side of my neck, and then apply a 6 inch strip of the Scent of Eros to each inner forearm. Why? I think it helps increase the effective radius of my pheromones for one, and I’ve found it’s almost always best to apply to the skin for a number of reasons. As your body temp increases (skin temp increases), these pheromones will release faster into the air, thus hitting your target in higher and higher levels…Think about what happens to your body temp when you are getting hot and heavy with your girlfriend, now you will understand the significance of this tactic, I hope!
It really depends upon what you are trying to do, or accomplish…At 26 years old pretty much ALL pheromone colognes (social lubricators and/or sexual attractants) are safe for you to use…Since I don’t know what you are trying to do in your social life, I’ll give you two examples from mine, maybe it will help?
Most frequently these days, if I’m going out to mingle, and meet “NEW” people (ladies), be that in a club, bar, house party, whatever…I’ll apply the Scent of Eros + Max attraction for very good results.
However, if I am already comfortable, and most likely intimate with someone and going on a 2nd, 3rd, 4th date for instance, I tend to swich over my Scent of Eros + Aqua Vitae or Alpha 7 combo, less “in your face” generally and seems to encourage ladies to want to keep me around for along time lol….This is another story but I think you get the general idea.
Totally up to you! I’ve done both, I’ve worn pheromones daily, and only broke them out for special occasions, like Friday and Saturday nights when going out! There are no rules with this one, it really is up to you! Obviously, if you are scoping out prospects at work or something, then you will probably wear the stuff daily, if not, then only prior to going out to a specific engagement.
Not familiar with your deodrant so I can’t answer this. If it does, simply switch to a non-scent brand. It really depends upon your priorities in my view, I would guess VERY FEW women really care or are effected either way by the scent of your deodrant, however the will be affect by your pheromone colognes, you will have decide which one is more important for you to keep around in the event of a clash of smells.

As a 25 year old male looking to mingle, including while at bar or club settings, you will most likely need two pheromone colognes, at least one potent “ice breaker,” or “social” pheromone, and one potent “sexual attractant.”
The best two social pheromones hands down in my experience are the Scent of Eros and Beaches by Michael Vie, you may wish to read up on both and decided which one appeals to you specifically, although both are good and will serve your purpose.
So far as a powerful sexual attractant goes, you may wish read up on Max Attraction…If you are looking for something specifically potent enough to be the most effective in the whole club scene for instance, this stuff is it in my opinion…However, if you are looking something a tad bit more subtle than that would be Alpha 7.
Typically, this combo as I outlined will tend to give you maximum benefits on the “social” and “sexual attraction” side of things…Not to mention I have had very good luck with all these pheromones I mentioned personally.

I have been reading up a little on pheromones.com. Kohl’s website. In their Layperson section there was one article that stated some simple but kinda profound things. It said that pheromones are found in human sweat. In itself this is not that exciting but then the site goes on further to suggest that antiperspirants and deodorants actually stint the natural effect someone already has and actually detracts from their own success with women by using products that effectively block their natural pheromones.
Maybe this is something that one could recommend to teenagers. Shower and all that but then do not use an antiperspirant. Maybe this is just speculation but since athletes in highschool seem to get all the girls it may very well just be that they seem to sweat more around them?
I had a woman recently make an observation that she loves the smell of sweaty men at the gym which would probably support this hypothesis.

Yes, I’ve read some similar articles on the subject as well, and I’m sure they’re probably right on the money, it does make sense when one thinks about it! All the beauty and hygiene products we tend to use these days do seem to serve to decrease our natural pheromone production and/or dispersion. But then again we live in a society were it’s usually not socially acceptable to go to work or school smelling as if we have not showered in days either. Although I do agree with the hypothesis, I not sure of a practical why around the use of hygienic products in this day and age?

I see from your comment that you have not had great results from using Pheromax at while at prowling the Club scene there? I’m not sure what your age is, however I would really doubt that have O.D’d on 2-3 sprays off Pheromax, it’s possible but not really likely.
The truth be told if you are in the 25+ age range especially, Club’s in general are some of the worst places to meet/compete for women which is pretty well known I think, as you are usually competing against a whole mess of competing alpha males and their pheromone signatures in such
an atmosphere…Typically, they way around this, if the Club scene is to be your hunting ground that is, is to use what I would normally call excessive amounts of your chosen pheromone cologne, and/or switch to a pheromone cologne that produces a very strong alpha male signature yourself! And in a club you may still have to wear higher dosages of even the strong stuff to achieve your desired effect.
So Raf, next time you had back into that Club of yours simply up the dosage considerably, instead of 2-3 sprays of Pheromax, go with 5-6, in such a competitive environment this may very well be necessary for you, or add a stronger “sexual attractant” into your mix such as the Edge or Alter Ego or Perception which you now have on hand…Club environments can be tricky, you will need a strong Alpha male signature and to tweak your behavior similar to an alpha to be successful in those meat markets, at least that’s my experience with those locales.

I have been doing a little bit of research to find a quality book that will adequately explain body language and best practices so to speak regarding basic male/female interaction. The problem I have is that I learned much of this stuff the old fashioned way, by trial and error! So now I’m looking to to find a reliable resource that will teach others to do the same thing I learned on my own, minus the longer learning curve…I just want to be careful I select the correct resource as I don’t want to recommend something of low quality, that’s the real delay on my part.
Again, you are correct regarding the publishing of some new reviews here. There is actually a sound reason for this, well two actually. First, unlike some those scammers out there that publish a so called “reviews” of a hundred + pheromone colognes at once, actually use the products I review, and am very careful I have a handle on each one of them before publishing a review on them. Trust me when I say this, those other folks that publish their review in bulk, I can pretty much guarantee they have not even used the products they have reviewed, it’s simply not possible mass publish ‘real’ or ‘accurate’ review in bulk, so they just make stuff up! I don’t! I use a number of products, make my observations, and then publish a small bulk of reviews on the handful of products I’ve been playing with for the past several months.
Not to fear though, I have 5 more reviews that I need to get type up and published, which brings me to my Second excuse, laziness! Sorry, I’m not the most prolific typer in the world so yes, sometimes I procrastinate, no more, I’ll release the next bulk of 5 review this month since clearly some folks have notice my laziness in this matter lol…

Hey, be careful when you say “someone your age,” were both the same age! Just kidding, but yes you have picked up quite a bit of info from your readings, so I’m happy to hear that.
As I said, based upon the specific lady you mentioned, based upon her age as well, Alpha 7 should be sufficient…Because of our ages you are also in luck in regards to dosage, us guys typically get much more mileage out of “sexual attractants” in general than the younger folks (18-25) crowd….If you are anything like me, I usually start with 2 generous dabs of Alpha 7, one behind each ear and I’m good to go!
However, I can and have also increased my own dosage up to about 5 good dabs of Alpha 7 and NOT O.D., but got some pretty intense results..Unfortunately, you will not know how others will react around you based upon dosage until you do some experimenting, so when in doubt in your case, start with 2 dabs first. Also, keep in mind that my recommendation is tailored for the specific lady you mentioned, therefore you you pile on the Alpha 7 and then change your mind and approach some 22 year old co-worker or something, you can pretty much expect a gal like that to be intimidated and flee from you (unless she already knows and is comfortable with you of course)….But for the lady you mentioned specifically, you should be good to go!

First off, I’d like to thank you for posting (hopefully) unbiased reviews of some of the pheromone products that are available. Virtually every other site I’ve visited recently was advertising/promoting/selling particular brands. This was the only one I’ve found that seemed unbiased with no particular slants or loyalties to particular manufacturers.
I’ve dipped my toe in the pheromone pool a few times, but never with any success. First time was approx 6 or 7 years ago, and it was the first time I had heard of people using pheromones to attract women. Please don’t ask me to recall the name of the company, I just remember they were advertising 2 ml vials of “pure” androstenone that you were supposed to mix with your favorite cologne. It had a musky scent, sort of a weak cross between urine and B.O. Was it legit? No idea, but I never saw any results. I also made the mistake of trying Pherlure and Attract RX within the last couple of years. You can imagine my frustration and disappointment with this industry so far. On to my dilemma…
I’m 40 years old, and have had my eye on a friend of mine (also about to turn 40) for a few years. There have been some sexual interactions between us in the past, but more so the first couple of years after meeting. I didn’t really make the impression I wanted to then (too nice for my own good), and she ended up dating another guy. In the meantime, I’ve been trying to do damage control to not get permanently placed in the “strictly friends” category. We have remained in contact and she’s now single again. I’ve been revamping my image…more of an alpha persona, more confident and assertive without being obnoxious. Well, I thank you for your comment, and yes I do strive to provide unbiased reviews to the best my ability of course…Personally, I could care less who produces a particular pheromone cologne, the only thing that concerns me is whether or not the stuff seems to work or not, especially since I use the stuff myself, personally!
Therefore, I’ve tried to keep things as simple as possible with to major categories here for Men at least, by writing about the Best Pheromones, and the Crap Pheromones out there on the market, and yes as you’ve seen, I’ve been bitten by the scams as well!
On to your situation B…Luckily, this is a pretty easy call for me, and I thank you for being so specific and detailed…From one guy about to turn 40 to another, you will correctly want to boost you Alpha male persona so to speak, never being rude or obnoxious, just self assured, self confident, projecting the stable protector type…I had a similar situation recently, expect the lady was a bit younger, but your friend being in our age range is actually a further advantage when using Alpha 7 Scented, which is exactly what I would recommend for you…You “could” try a social ice breaker of course, but from what you have said, I don’t really think you will have a problem getting this lady chatty or friendly around you? The major advantage to age, especially at our age, is that we can simply get away with a sound but strong “sexual attractant,” ESPECIALLY if we are targeting a lady in the same age range!
So yes, I would so based upon my own experiences to give Alpha 7 a try first, it may very well be ALL you need for the specific lady you have in mind, and then of course, just work on your behavior to project that coveted self confident and self assured aura, while still letting her know you are “interested,” but not desperate, but would like to take her out!

Yes, I’m well aware of androtics, you will not find mention of most products here on their corporate forum, their forum is for marketing of their own product line, and to convince folks that you must buy 10-20 different pheromone colognes to get a desired results lol…Just my humble opinion of course….Anyhow, I do have a literal bucket full of their pheromone colognes, other than A314 of course, I have no clue what the rest of them actually do, still waiting for some results, and it’s been two years now….Anyhow….Other than A314, only two other pheromone products from those folks passed muster to be mentioned here, those being Instant Sexiness B and MX 135…But I don’t think they are what you are looking for, as they are both pheromones for women my better half had some amount of success with…Hope this helps, good luck with your quest!

I also read your review of Michael Vie’s Beaches, sounds very effective (just hope that the field test results was no placebo effect when you experimented with it), would it be advisable for me to try it out as well? Oh, guess I never mentioned my age, I’m turning 29 this year.
No problem Roody…Yes, the the folks over at Alpha Dream seem to be definitely on to something from what I can tell, I’ve only used two of there pheromone colognes so far, but both delivered very promising results as I noted in my reviews on Certo and Alfa Maschio.
As for Beaches by Michael Vie, I wouldn’t worry about the placebo effect on that one, that particular pheromone cologne has been around for awhile and is tried and tested, I like it a lot, as I said it’s probably right behind the SOE if one looks purely at “icebreaker” type pheromones, the stuff does deliver and seems to facilitate smoother social interactions…Oh, and it smells very good too, much like the SOE.
Since you have no mentioned your age (28) just keep in mind the general rule for target selection if you will, heavier on Androstenol based pheromone colognes for the younger crowd, and Androstenone based for the older crowd…Happy hunting.

I’m a newbie in pheromones usage and I’m disappointed with 2 pheromones product that I have tried recently – Arouse-Rx and Pherazone(my mistake too i guess for not doing my homework).
I’ve read through your unbeatable combo of SOE, Alpha-7 and Liquid Trust but somehow I’m still skeptical of the effects as different review sites documenting differing results (quite possibly biased reviews, then again one wouldn’t be able to ascertain).
However, I note that reviews of products from Alpha Dream (Maschio & Certo) seems to be consistently positive. More over, you did mention that the Alfa Maschio could make up the way to your Top 5 pheromone products.
I am considering of placing my order but I would like to clarify the product’s effectiveness based on your personal opinion so I do not end up being sour again with the upcoming results.
Oh, and how close should one be in order for the pheromones to actually take effect. Is it really true that pheromones can effect surrounding people within a radius of ten feet? Somehow, I am of the opinion that one it will only be effective if you actually in very close proximity with the person.

Anyhow, yes, I do mention a number of rather effective combos I have used, and still use to this day…The SOE, Alpha 7, and Liquid Trust combo is very good, depending upon what one is trying to accomplish, and so is the SOE+Alpha 7 + NPA combo….But most combos are really for more advanced pheromone enthusiasts, not really geared towards newbies, it’s always best to get to know 1 pheromone cologne, see how it performs, then move onto another one that will compliment the first etc etc….Oh, and you mention different review sites out there lol….This blog was the first comprehensive site out there, our are you putting your faith in folks like Mr. Pherazone ???
Anyhow, you mention Alfa Maschio and Certo, yes both are very sound pheromone colognes, I enjoy both personally and still wear them out here and there.
But you are correct, at this time I do see Alpha Maschio making it into my top 5, this is true, I just like to wear this stuff over a longer period of time, to judge it’s consistency before I put my rep behind it if you know what I mean. But if you asked me would I order another bottle of Alfa Maschio, I’d simply smile and quietly order myself another at this point.
Anyhow Roody, read the reviews carefully, all are simply taken from my own experiences and then just try to make the best decision for you.
As far as the area of affect for pheromones, from my personal experience it’s typically between 5 and 10 feet, being most strong of course within the 5 feet radius. The only exception is outside, with light wind someone down wind of you can be exposed to ones pheromones 20-30 yards away, I’ve seen this happen personally, with SOE by the way….But typically, the closer you can be around your targets, the better.

Anyhow, to answer your question in a belated manner, yes, at your age (17) most pheromones will not work as you may think they will, you will be projecting too much in conjunction with your natural body chemistry, the results would be highly unpredictable on a best case scenario, must likely leading directly towards over dose! Pheromones are simply most effective on folks whose natural hormone and pheromone levels have already started to decline somewhat, not on teenagers at their peek in life…You would most likely scar a lot of women away from you by adding pheromones at your age, using all but perhaps SOE for the most part, which is why I would simply not recommend a male to bother using pheromones at all while still in there teens!

You’re 17, there is simply no compelling reason for you to use “ANY” pheromone product! Your natural pheromone chemistry is in overdrive “right now!”
If you are just not that good with the ladies, trust me, that’s pretty normal at 17 years of age anyhow, practice talking to them and getting to know them, that will get you much further than any pheromone cologne will at your age!
After you get comfortable talking with the ladies to a degree, come back when your between 25-50 years old, then you will actually be able to see the benefits of a quality pheromone cologne, your just not there yet.
Sorry Kollie, just being honest with you…I’m sure they’re are people out there on the web that will be more than happy to take your money, and then give you something that will not even work well for you at your current age, but I’m just not one of those guys….Save your bucks Kollie!

LoL…Yes, it’s getting to be a rather well known scam site these days, the owner of the “review site” apparently is also the product owner of Pherazone, which “could” explain why Pherazone is ranked as their number one product, just a little lol…Of course he doesn’t disclose that relationship on his review site of course…I think my Pherazone Review is a bit more down to earth, as I do not “own” the product.

No problem Kev…My 2 cents, Chikara is a rather hit or miss pheromone cologne, and smells like stripper, ya the stuff dancers tend to wear in clubs, but it does produce results, just not all that consistently for all folks. Since you already have Chikara, I would start with what you already have, start with low doses then work your way up to see what time of reactions you are getting…Only after you have a handle on what Chikara is able to do for you, would I then start adding additional pheromone colognes. Alot also depends upon what you are looking to do? More attraction at work, or while out socially, or both? These choices will also dictate what might or might not work well for you.
Without knowing anymore specifics about you, do to your age I assuming you could probably go more heavy on the Androstenone, if this is the case with you I’ve found Alpha 7, and NPA for Men, to both be good at complimenting and enhancing Chikara personally, but like I said, I would first see what Chikara does for you as a standalone.

I’m a 23 yr old. And I was wondering what would be the must have cologne or combination. I really like the results you had with Beaches and Alter Ego. But I’m not sure if the Alpha 7 and the Eros would have that type of affect. I’m trying to stay under 100 dollars.
No problem Carl, happy to see you read rather thoroughly…Anyhow to try to answer your question, for a 23 year old male you will typically want a pheromone cologne high in Androstenol, as at your age Androstenone production is still fairly strong. You are quite correct, for Androstenol The Scent of Eros for Men, Beaches by Michael Vie, and even the new comer Certo for Men would all do you quite well, and I have gotten good results with all three, I don’t think you go wrong by selecting any of those three to be totally upfront with you, go with which ever you’d like to experiment with, they’re all good.
As for a combo, yes, you would want at least 1 additional cologne with some amount of Androstenone, that being said you will still want to go heavy on the Androstenol. You mentioned Alter Ego, shows you read well, as this would be a great choice to wear alongside Scent of Eros, Certo, or Beaches, just not to be worn by itself. If you are not ‘feeling’ Alter Ego, for a man your age I would then recommend Alpha 7 as part of your combo, but limiting yourself to max 1-2 applications, but do to itself buffered nature I still think in smaller dosages it would do you well alongside any of the other three previously mentioned.
Im using it right now but not sure what to make of it, i have to admit that it is my first pheromone yup i have popped my pheromone cherry but like a virgin im fumbling around and could do with an expert opinion. Hi…I have not really heard to much about Attractant, nothing good, nor nothing bad honestly…I did do some quick research on this stuff, and from what I can tell from the website it appears to be primarily a rather unbuffered Androstenone based pheromone spray. Personally, unless I’m testing, I no longer use such stuff myself. If it is well made it should work to some degree, and of course the risks of Androstenone Overdose that come with too frequent or too heavy an application is very, very real with a product such as the one you are experimenting with.
This may in part be why you are getting rather hit or miss encounters with this pheromone cologne, as it also may be building up on your skin or clothing from day to day resulting in over dose, or you are simply apply to much from the start…As I said, this is why I shy from Androstenone pheromone colognes, they can be effective, dont get me wrong, but they are not the best selection at all for a newbie to start with….When using a strong Androstenone pheromone cologne, I would recommend doing what I do ever day, balance it out! Personally, I’ll wear Scent of Eros + Alpha 7 Scented (or) NPA for Men < the point is you have a “social pheromone” working in conjunction with, and to balance out the pure “sexual attractant” based pheromone, helps avoid “alot” of headaches that way.
Anyhow, since you experimenting with only an Attractant pheromone, which I don’t recommend, but since you are there now, I would recommend starting with a small dose, maybe 1 application per 4-5 hours per day, carefully observe others reactions, when the completely ignore you or want to fight you, you’ll know you’ve hit over dose levels and such will have a better idea of how much to use for pure “attraction.” Or, as I said, just buffer it with another “social” pheromone cologne for optimal results.

Glad you asked that question Nuno. The Scent of Eros is tried, true and tested over time, this some what rare in the world of pheromone cologne. If used for it’s correct purpose, a social ice breaker I have seen SOE perform very, very well, over a period of more than two years now. I personally use it, along with Alpha 7 Scented almost daily, because they are both work well, and even work better when used together. I’ve tried ALOT of pheromone products to date, and if SOE was not good stuff, I wouldn’t bother with it myself!
So…Why does the Scent of Eros tend to get little love by reviewers out there on the web??? Let me tell ya a little secret, I’ve noticed this while looking some other folks reviews, I won’t mention any names…But the Scent of Eros is one of the CHEAPEST pheromone colognes out on the market! What does this mean? It means that if you are a product reviewer more concerned with making a big commission, than with telling the truth, then you will not encourage folks to try out the Scent of Eros, because there is simply little money in it for the reviewer, because the stuff is cheaply priced! Keep this habit in mind when you stray to other review sites run by hard core marketers.
So, would you prefer I recommend a top pick that is one of the Cheapest, but most effective, or recommend a cologne that is crazy expensive but doesn’t do much for you? Recommending the uber expensive one would be more profitable for some reviewers out there, but not necessarily truthful, nor accurate…Nuff said.
hey, I’ve been reading all reviews I can get because I don’t want to get it wrong the first time I buy pheromones and your’s look the best. I’m 22 and defenetly not getting the reaction I could at my age and I felt the difference in my last relationshp, it should be more spicy at my age (nothing more frustrating than that) even dough I’m not bad looking. Sorry for the delay, been away for a bit. Mirko, at 17 years old you should be fine starting with SOE and small doses of Androstenone within your Alter Ego, as always just start small, observe, then increase your dosages slowly and incrementally while looking to see how folks around you react.
At 22 years of age, I would go with a combo, an ice breaker social pheromone followed by an attraction pheromone. My personal fav that has yet to fail me personally, has been the old Scent of Eros + Alpha 7 Scented combo…Used right women will remember you for years lol…Actually, had an Ex GF confess to me a few months ago that I always came across to her as a “Man,” and that I always smelled the same, like a man?? Hi, I have a question about pheromones. I recently bought Alter ego for men. Of course i tested it. I take just one drop because i didnt want to overdose it, but i didnt get any respond so obviousoly i have to increase amount. I am 17 years old and i dont know how many drops i have to put it on me to get pozitive respond? I dont want to attract some old girls and i also dont want to get negative responds or aggresion of other males.Can you also tell me where do you apply the pheromones?On the neck? Let me try to briefly explain something, I cringe when ever I hear about a 17 year old young man buying heavy Androstenone pheromones…What follows is what most Advertisers will never tell you…At 17 you pretty much produce all the natural androstenone that you need anyhow! There for you risk producing a Androstenone overdose much more easily with even 1 or 2 doses of this type of pheromone than would be experience by a much more mature man…Heavy Androstenone pheromones are magic in the hands of men in the 30+ age range, you are still a teenager! Full of all kinds of natural pheromones as it is. At your age I personally would not be trying to add anything containing much Androstenone, it will produce a kind of weird vibe, girls your own age will not really know what to make of you, as you will be projecting yourself as a more confident, older, mature man, when you are not this yet, and their eyes will confirm this reality!
If you wish to try pheromones at all at 17, which I really don’t even personally believe is necessary, but if you do wish to, I would look at something along the lines of the The Scent of Eros for Men. The reason why is because it contains very low amounts of Androstenone, which you do NOT need at your age, but does give you more Androstenol and Androsterone. The combined affect of these two pheromones, even at your age, will serve to make girls your own age, or any age really, more relaxed, friendly, calm, and willing to chat and conversate with you, that’s 90% of the battle right there.

Hi Zantex, sorry for the delay.
1. Covering a pheromone does “not” reduce it’s effectiveness, so use a cover scent of your choice.
2. This has been debated, the basic answer is no, non scented products are not less effective than scented, however, if a scent causes people to purposely breath in more deeply as they try to appreciate your lovely scent, then they will get a bigger whiff of pheromones thus accelerating the affect.
3. Everyone is different, but for interviews specifically, I have personally used 3 with great effect, the Scent of Eros, Alpha 7 Scented, covered with Liquid Trust right before going into the interview, worked very well for me!
4. Dosage is more tricky, start small and work your way up until you find your comfort zone…For me, two applications is usually sufficient.
4a: Go heavier at a night club, you will have a lot of competing pheromones from younger males in those locales, maybe 3-4 doses would be good starting point for Alpha 7 for instance, certainly double what you would wear for an interview lol.
4b. work and school should be moderate – 1-2 doses of most pheromones.
c. Alone with a female – depends – if you are already romantically involved go heavy 3-4 doses – works well….If you are not intimate yet, use moderate dosing levels 1-2 applications to start or you may intimidate her….Good luck.

I am a older guy (62) and at this time need a little more credibility with the younger folks at work plus having “some” attraction from slightly younger ladies would also be nice. Would also like to have executives/management be more open and trusting.. suggestions would be appreciated as I’m sure the dosing levels and compounds would be different. I am thinking about a314 along with ???.. Also what has been your experience with the different vendors.

Hi Paul, don’t feel awkward, many folks who try pheromones are older guys, I’m not a young man myself. Anyhow, yes A314 is a very sound product, although I would personally give my own favorite a try, or at least read up on it, it’s called Alpha 7 Scented…This is personally what I grab every day before work, great stuff for extra respect, stature, and yes also sexual attraction. However, you will notice more respect before before overt sexual attraction from the younger ladies using Alpha 7. Not to mention, Alpha 7 just smells a whole lot better than A314, you will look and smell the part of some one who commands more respect and has a higher social status, folks call it the “James Bond” effect…
If you are looking into solely focusing on “sexual attraction” and specifically of younger ladies, you would want to read about using as well, the scent of eros, npa for men, or even chikara for men. Personally, I get away with just using Alpha 7 scented along side with the scent of eros for men, gets me a lot of respect, stature, sexual attraction, and folks just love chatting away with me…As for dosing level, because male pheromone production decreases with age, of course you would need higher doses than some young buck, but not alot more, start with 2 then observe and work your way up if needed.
As for the different vendors, at least the ones I’ve given positive reviews to, they are all class acts, prompt and good service, and in the unlikely event you have a problem they have no problem correcting that problem and making things right, at least that’s my experience with them, which is why I do the courtesy of linking to them as opposed to others, that I have not had a good experience with, I wont mention any names.

Hello Mr. Kyle, Would A-7, SOE and Npa work well together? I noticed that on your top #3 spot’s, you mentioned that those products (SOE, A-7, & LT) when working in conjunction produce “often times brutal results”, I’m curious as to whether this mix would be good together as well. Mahalo braddah!
Short and to the point, yes! I’ve definitely gotten some very strong results with that SOE, Alpha 7, and Liquid Trust combo, yes. Note: the effectiveness of the Liquid Trust portion is short lived, perhaps an hour or so only, but during that time frame you will most likely make when heck of an impression lol.
Howzit. I do not wear them at the house either. Not even at work. I just bought the super combo of SOE and NPA. So i’ll use the SOE at work, and the NPA/SOE combo when out on social occasions Mahalo and aloha.
Sounds like a good and sensible plan to me….You got this stuff pretty much down already…Just remember, at your age, and assuming you are going after women in your age range, go heavier on the SOE then you ever think of going with the NPA…You can go heavier on the NPA when you join the 35+ crowd lol.

Long story short, yes it could… You will have to observe what is going on around you to see what reactions are brought about. I’ve heard reports of young children reacting very negatively around folks wearing Androstenone for instance…You will have to keep in mind this is not stuff which really meant for you to wear at home with your family, the reactions could be unpredictable, you will have to see for yourself what occurs…Personally, I do not wear any pheromones at home, only at work or during social outings…But, to each there own.

Thank you for the great feedback braddah. How much should you apply for NPA to not get the negative effect of androstenone? I am choosing this product over Alpha-7 for the current time due to budgetary concerns (I am a full-time college student). Mahalo!
Hi Lanaka…Personally, I think it’s a mistake to go solely with NPA in your particular case. Simply put, Androstenone production decreases with age, you are of college age which means you are still producing healthy quantities of Androstenone. NPA is really better for the 28+ male crowd from my observations, and a must have for the 35+ years old crowd, myself included! lol….For your age I would invest in two products primarily, Alpha 7, for the buffered Androstenone mixture, used in conjunction with something like the scent of eros for men for the social enhancement, going heavy on the SOE and with maybe 2-3 dabs of the Alpha 7….Now, if u already have acquired the NPA I would start low and work your way up in dosage levels, start with 2 dabs and no more at all….You really should NPA, if thats what you have along with something like scent of eros, as I said, at your age you will want to buffer all that androstenone…Hope that helps!

Aloha braddah. Well, I will say first off that I didn’t know any better and tried those 2 scams pherlure and icebreaker. I bought them for a time, and nothing happened. I trust what u and the others here say. I am an enthusiast for pheremones 2 be sure. Its just sad I had to actually try those 2 out without first trying the other products here. I did not think to look them up. I got no noticeable results other than responses to the great smell. ooooh u smell sooo good and the like. Nice, but not the reaction I wuz looking for. I am going to try NPA and Alpha. But first off, theres has been alot of postings by you that these two products strongly attract african/and latina women. Nothing is said about Pacific Islander women (I am Hawaiian, New Zealand, and Filipino on my dad’s side). I would like to see more results on how they are affected by them. And I will be sure to pass this on to you, so other Islanders won’t feel like this stuff wouldn’t really attract Islander girls. Mahalo!
Hi Lanaka, glad to provide you with some useful info…As for the pheromone products that seem to attract/ have an enhanced response upon African and Latina women, those seem to be products which contain Androstenone…For some odd reason African and Latinas seem to respond well to Androstenone, even at high dosages which might normally repeal other women, no one is sure exactly why? Perhaps the can tolerate the super Alpha Male type individual more so than others? Just spit balling on that….So far as what attract Pacific Islanders? I only write about my personal experiences, and those are limited with Pacific Islanders, however I did recently attend an outing with many Pacific Islanders weeks ago and only wore 2 generous applications of Alpha 7 scented…Long story short, I got ALOT of nice and inviting looks from many young ladys, which suggests to me the stuff works on them as well, but since they were all there with their boyfriends things went no further…So I believe Alpha 7 and NPA will work well on Pacific Islanders, but I have done no specific testing to confirm this, other than my latest offhand spur of the moment little experiment…Hope that helps!
Sorry for the late reply Joe, been offline for a little bit. Anyhow, to respond to your very legitimate questions which I actually appreciate you asking, let me first say this…I was you! Before I started actually trying pheromones myself, I will freely admit I thought this stuff was a bunch of voodoo, and couldn’t possibly work…Well, the truth as I have discovered is more grey than black or white. The stuff does not work nearly as well as most advertisers say it does in their sales pages, but some of the better pheromone colognes out there do in fact work. Of this I “now” have no doubt what so ever, I simply experienced to many obvious and blatant reactions to explain away the reactions of folks towards me when wearing certain pheromones versus when I’m not wearing them at all….It simply cannot be coincidence in my mind.
Also, let me be very clear here, you ask or stated “Almost all of the pheromones you wear seem to give you blatantly positive results…” This is actually not the case, but you would have no way of knowing this, the truth is I’m a pathetically bad and slow writer! I have have in excess of 30+ more reviews I’m compiling results for and will eventually be publishing here! What I’m trying to say is I obviously published the best reviews of the best pheromones I’ve tested first! It’s hard to motivate to write and publish 20+ Bad reviews of pheromones that clearly did nothing for me, so I started be first writing about the ones that did actually work! Unfortunately, those positive reviews cover a rather small percentage of the pheromone products I’ve tested, most were duds actually, so you are currently only reading about the “cream of the crop.” Does this make sense???…As for your concern over the possible placebo effect, beat you to that one long ago. I’m a pretty dry guy, not to exciting by my own calculations, but when I test this stuff around other folks I purposely go out of my way to remain rather neutral in my behavior, for example, lack of flirting, try not to show any visible interest etc etc..So, nah.
As for other legitimate websites selling pheromones other than the big three, when I find them, I’ll let you know, be careful, there are more bad than good out there.
