Pherlure. Is Pherlure for real, or is Pherlure a Scam? In my effort to identify, purchase, field test, and review the most effective quality pheromones for men, I have been repeatedly distracted via email, folks have been curious about other pheromone products, including the ever popular Pherlure.

It may be long over do, my apologies, but I will now start what I call the “Dubious Pheromones” category, in which I will try to shed some light on which pheromone products seem to fall into the underperforming category….I’m being politically correct here folks.

Pherlure? What is Pherlure? Pherlure is a quite popular pheromone cologne for men, which actually does smell very nice! As a matter of fact, when I tested the one bottle I ever purchased, I did get some compliments on Pherlure’s smell!

However, other than receiving these compliments, what did Pherlure do for me? Well, in a word, nothing! Pherlure is fairly tight lipped about the ingredients supposedly contained within their pheromone cologne, but the the only affect I have noticed on one occasion, and after using a particularly high dosage of it, was “aggression.”

Anyone familiar with real pheromone colognes is well aware that primarily “aggression” is caused by high levels of the human pheromone known as Androstenone, therefore it is safe to assume Pherlure does in fact contain some level of Androstenone.

What is Androstenone?

Androstenone is a human pheromone which the pheromone community refers to basically as a sexually based human pheromone.  Androstenone signals to those exposed, among other things, dominance, aggression, competition, and is strongly knownto be associated and to induce feeling of strong sexual attraction.

And more importantly, what affects are caused by high or inappropriate levels of Androstenone?

* Headaches

*Bad Smelling Applications

* Aggression from other members of the same sex

* An aggressive mood in the wearer

* Members of the opposite sex to be overly intimidated, leading to no or even negative reactions.

Therefore, I’m quite sure that Pherlure does in fact contain some amount of Androstenone, probably not correctly dosed or correctly mixed with whatever else is put in the stuff, but I’m sure that the Androstenone is in fact in there.

The Field Test Results for Pherlure

I ended up field testing Pherlure by itself as a stand alone pheromone cologne for men only 14 times. I tried testing Pherlure in varying doses, one application, two, three, four, then five applications! As I previously mentioned, Pherlure does smell quite good to me and many other folks.

However, after field testing Pherlure, in the work place, in social environments, among strangers, co-workers, and even my girlfriend, after about two weeks of trying to get the stuff to do something, anything, I pretty much gave up!

In two weeks of testing the only affect I got to personally experience, when I wore a high dose of the stuff, was me being put in a rather pissy mood, not a real bad mood, but just a very negative mood. This is not normal for me.

As for Pherlure’s affects upon others? I have no clue! Other than receiving a couple of compliments as to Pherlure’s smell, I never received what an experienced pheromone user would be able to identify as a “hit,” nor any obvious sign of sexual interest from the opposite sex, nor even from the same sex!! Nothing!

Needless to say, I was not impressed. I have no need to pay for this to be ignored!

So why is Pherlure so popular?

In my opinion, because Pherlure’s marketing, branding, and advertising of this product is simply…AWESOME! Lets face facts, Pherlure has clearly done a fantastic job marketing this pheromone cologne! I actually will take my hat off to them for this accomplishment!

But lets face facts once more, if Pherlure was really great stuff, and actually did what it claimed, would Pherlure need all the big marketing? I would think word of mouth would continue to drive sales forever! Unless, for some odd reason, most folks only seem to order the stuff once?

I wonder why that might be???

In the words of some experienced pheromone enthusiasts from some well known forums;

“This is funny, Pherlure made me look for and try the real thing. I found Pherlure most like just a cologne, a “Fair” one. They earned my because I order 3 bottles, they give you 30 days since the order day to claim the money back warranty, belive me, if you discount the shipping times, non working days, etc. they are giving you very few days to try it, so the warranty is almost a Rip-Off in my opinion. And I have 2 new bottles and another one almost full sitting there.”

And another,

“As many of you guys i also ordered Pherlure, and well.. I got so disapointed I almost gave up. Til’ i found this place =)”

And yet again,

“Before I came accross this site I unfortunately bought some phero’s or more like cheap cologne, from a placed called pherlure. This place is a total scam and doesn’t do anything close to what it claims to do. So any new people who might be readying this… STAY AWAY FROM PHERLURE. Save yourself the time and money. Anyways, that’s how I came across this site. After typing inpherlure scam…”

Anyhow, needless to say the scroll listing the names of dis-satified Pherlure users is, VERY LONG! The latest public service announcement to pop up blasting Pherlure, documenting Pherlure’s supposed use of fake documentation is published online here – http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=411408

I will not straight come out and call Pherlure a total scam. Who knows? It did nothing for me though, I will let my intelligent readers come to their own conclusions. Good luck, and be careful!

The Marilyn Miglin Pheromone

The Marilyn Miglin Pheromone is the next topic I feel compelled to cover. Why? Because the Marilyn Miglin Pheromone seems to be source of confusion among novice and some advanced pheromone enthusiasts!

To my surprise many folks have actually ordered the Marilyn Miglin Pheromone, or other products from the Marilyn Miglin product line believing that they are actually getting a genuine pheromone product! They are obviously disappointed by the affects after using the product, as they are unable to notice the classic attraction affects of a sound pheromone cologne or perfume?

Let me be clear in my attempt to clear up this mis-perception, the Marilyn Miglin Pheromone does NOT CONTAIN ANY HUMAN PHEROMONES! That’s correct, the Marilyn Miglin Pheromone is not a REAL pheromone cologne or perfume!

So why is The Marilyn Miglin Pheromone have the word “pheromone” in the name? Folks, it’s called branding and marketing, that’s all. The fact of the matter is that most folks really don’t know or understand yet what a real pheromone cologne or perfume does, or what real pheromone products are all about, but they have probably heard some of the buzz about them. Therefore, Marilyn Miglin has capitalized on this buzz, and incorporated the word “pheromone” into their product line to attract more attention, not because they actually have included actual pheromones into their product line. Make sense?

To some it up, my suspicion is echoed by a long time advanced pheromone enthusiast on a popular pheromone cologne forum, in net effect he informed;

“Sorry to disappoint, but you’re no more likely to get a pheromone effect from Miglin’s products than you are to get high on Yves Saint Laurent’s “Opium” line of fragrances… In both cases these are merely the NAMES of the products, where the products themselves DON’T happen to contain any of their namesakes…Ain’t THAT some shit!?…The only way to get any phero effect from that stuff is to keep rubbing it in ’til you work up a sweat! …I was given a bar of MM’s “Pheromone” soap and it smelled pretty good, but there ain’t squat for pheros in there.”

“For example,PHEROMONE FOR MEN, the most powerful attractant known, is a balanced blend of rare and expensive essences derived from herbs, wild grasses, exotic bark, seeds and wine resins.”

Pherlure Pheromone Cologne

Pherlure. What more can I say? After publishing my initial field test results on the Pherlure Pheromone Cologne, the results of which are published under Pherlure: Is Pherlure Legit or A Scam? I quickly found myself at the receiving end of a variety of nasty emails, primarily from online marketers who have apparently made a pretty penny from pimping this Pherlure stuff to unsuspecting consumers.

I have pretty thick skin folks, and I do not really mind receiving nasty emails at all, I find it rather amusing actually in many cases, but this time I did allow for the simple “possibility” that I was somehow wrong, or off base in the publishing of my first review concerning Pherlure. Since the purpose of this little blog is to try to put out real and reliable information derived from actual field testing on various pheromone products I felt it was appropriate in this particular case to re-evaluate the Pherlure Pheromone Cologne.

I will not exaggerate this simple fact folks, I usually do not re-test pheromone colognes at all, as I only publish my evaluations after I’m fairly convinced that I have a handle on what any pheromone cologne does, or does not do.

That being said, I opted to re-evaluate Pherlure “only” because apparently so many folks out there are making money from selling or marketing the stuff, and because some of those folks were so hostile towards my last review of Pherlure, so before I dig in on the Pherlure issue, I decided for my own piece of mind I should re-test the stuff and be sure I was in fact correct…Make sense?

Field Test Method for the Pherlure Pheromone Cologne

In total I decided to 12 additional field tests with Pherlure used as my standalone sole pheromone cologne product. Specifically, I opted to conduct 4 field tests primarily among folks a work (professional setting), followed by 4 more field tests in social settings (outside of work – but among friends or acquaintances), and then capped off with the final 4 field tests among complete strangers (ie.,.at a mall, store, club, and bar). In short, I wanted to expose myself to folks that know me well, know me a little, and to those who don’t know me at all so as I could observe how Pherlure would or would not influence others behavior towards me.

As a final note about my field testing methodology, as I’ve done with every other pheromone cologne that I have field tested, I use a variety of application levels as well. In other words, I usually start with 2 applications, or sprays – usually to the neck – and then work my way up to higher levels, 2,4, then 5 or 6 applications in order to determine what dosage level will actually work, or not work for me.

Field Test for the Pherlure Pheromone Cologne – Professional Setting

My first (2nd set of field tests) I conducted in the work place, these are some of the easiest tests to conduct actually, I started with low levels of Pherlure applied and then as usual worked my way up to higher level applications.

So what occurred after 4 days of using Pherlure in the office, among many of the same folks who I observed “did” in fact respond to other pheromone colognes I have tested in the past, well, not much to report really…Once again! The only notable “change” in co-worker behavior I can report is that over those four days three young ladies briefly commented that my cologne “smelled nice.” The comments were more of an after thought, followed by them quickly walking away to their work stations and not giving me a second look for the rest of the day? I’m actually not used to being ignored like that these days, but it was a Pherlure day so I documented those reactions.

Field Test for the Pherlure Pheromone Cologne – Social Settings

My second round of testing with Pherlure in various social settings occurred over two different weekends, primarily among friends, and friends of friends, in which we were out relaxing on both Friday and Saturday nights.

Out of the 4 separate nights I tested Pherlure socially, I received only two documentable reactions, that was it, two! The first response worthy of being documented, or attributable to Pherlure, was a comment from a young lady I was sitting next to in a bar/restaurant with my other friends. She looked over at me and smiled in a shy sort of way, and eventually apologized and asked me softly if I just left the gym before going out with everyone, as she thought I kind of needed a “shower.”

Needless to say, I did not need a shower, but I was testing higher dosage levels of Pherlure that night, so I’m guessing she was detecting high levels of Androstenone contained in Pherlure, which can in high levels be perceived as “body odor.” This was a documentable reaction to Pherlure, just not a positive one.

The second Pherlure generated reaction I was able to document while field testing in social settings was on the following weekend, and last weekend of my testing. I was out at a dance club, filled with the early to mid twenty something crowd that usually frequent these sort of establishments. I quickly got tired of dancing, rather badly, if I may say so myself and went to the bar to order a mixed drink.

While I was standing at the bar, waiting for a truly untalented bar tender to prepare my over priced drink, a cute young lady squeezed in next to me started yelling to get the bar tenders attention. After a few seconds of this, and her rather annoyingly brushing up against me, she stops yelling and looks up at me, smiles, and yells, “What are YOU wearing!?!? “ Before I could answer, she stands fully up and puts her face to my neck smelling me! She then comments, “Smells good…I like it!” I smile back at her and say, “Thanks…” Before I could say anymore, she’s gone! She ran off to chase down a roving waiter serving drinks…I was done, enough of this!

Field Test for the Pherlure Pheromone Cologne – Strangers

The last segment of my re-field testing of Pherlure was to be among complete strangers only. So I decided to do exactly what I’ve done with past pheromone colognes to test their use in this setting. Simply, go to the mall, grocery store, or even laundry mat!

Simply put, I put on a moderate level of every pheromone cologne I field test, go out in public into one of these settings and simply stand next to pleasing looking female as I examine some product I’m looking to buy, and observe whether the young lady even notices whether I exist, or not?

I went out to my normal social/public settings over the course of 4 days, using 2, then 3, then 4, then 5 applications of Pherlure, I did not go to 6, as I was wearing 6 applications the last time a young lady told me I smelled like “body odor!”

So how did I make it with Pherlure this time? In a word or two, pretty badly!

After using my usual tactic, the old stand next to pretty girl shopping at the mall trick, and see if she notices me as the pheromone cloud sets in, I got exactly 1, yes, 1 reaction from a complete stranger. She looked over at me, give a quick smile, and walked away to another aisle. Yup, that’s all I have to report.

Is it just me? At this point, after I concluded my 2nd round of field tests on good ole Pherlure, I really don’t think it’s “just” me folks! Especially, after seeing my old Mall field test tactic utterly fail! I have field tested quite a few pheromone colognes, some are better than others.

For instance, while conducting this same field test, in the Mall, simply standing next to strangers while using Alpha 7 Scented, NPA for Men, and even The Scent of Eros for Men for instance, the results were completely different!

I was expecting about 30 seconds to a minute to go by, to have the young lady I was standing close to keep looking over at me, for me to at the most quickly smile back and then we would engage in conversation, flirting, or even eventually have a phone number offered! Those are the reactions I did get with other quality pheromone colognes, and still do get to this day….But not with Pherlure huh? No….It’s not me!

To those marketers who are making a pretty penny pimping Pherlure, you know who you are, to each their own, no more emails PLEASE! I will not endorse Pherlure, nor will I buy another bottle, nor will I even continue to use up the bottle I currently own! It is, what it is.

Icebreaker Pheromone Cologne

Icebreaker Pheromone Cologne…Folks, I really don’t know how to be politically correct in this review of the so called Icebreaker Pheromone Cologne? Personally, I thought the days of peddling snake oil on the net were over, until I field tested this lovely Icebreaker Pheromone Cologne!

Please excuse my tone, but as I sit here smiling, finding myself at a loss of words, feeling rather used that I even spent money on this pheromone cologne, I’m trying to figure out how to articulate the fact that I have no real clue what this stuff does, as it clearly did nothing for me, and I used this stuff on and off for months!

I will say this, I have vowed to try to keep this Icebreaker Pheromone Cologne review short and sweet, as I personally do not believe this pheromone cologne really deserves much mention, nor wasted space on my site for that matter! That being said, out of all the pheromone colognes that I have purchased, and that list is rapidly growing, Icebreaker is the first bottle of pheromone cologne that I straight threw away as opposed to allowing it to take up space sitting beside numerous other pheromone colognes, some good, others not so good…No room for Icebreaker on my shelf, I was more disappointed by this stuff than I was with Pherlure, at least Pherlure smells good!

After field testing Icebreaker for at work, at home, out at social functions among friends and strangers, and after very careful consideration I had to come to the conclusion that this stuff is over hyped Garbage! I apologize, I’m usually much more politically correct than this, but I might as well not sugar coat it. I know when a pheromone cologne works at this point, and I certainly know when one does not, this stuff does not…No clue what it does!

All I can say at this point, is for the numerous marketers out there who are aggressively pimping this stuff to folks that don’t know any better, along with Pherlure I’m quite sure, SHAME!

Just to make sure I was not losing my mind after field testing Icebreaker Pheromone Cologne, “I” even looked around some forums to find mention if Icebreaker by some seasoned and knowledgeable pheromone enthusiasts who use a lot of products and pretty much know their stuff, what did I read?

“About 100% of the advertising you see, especially on the internet, youtube, various websites, etc. is fraud, even when it includes legitimate products. Especially the ones that compare one product to another (and that goes a thousand fold if they are pushing Pherlure….an outright scam)…..pushing Icebreaker (I believe the guy who makes that stuff is still in prison, lol). That product is BS. The other products listed are of poor quality.”

Well that was refreshing to read, at least I started to think to was not just me!

“Read their website carefully… the things they compare themselves with, like pherlure and athena are widely recognized as garbage….They also claim to be scientists but are still claiming the VNO is the pheromone receptor. That is pretty well discredited by real science. Their own ratings mean absolutely nothing and I haven’t seen a single verified and independent opinion of their products, only their own marketing hype.”

When I read this it started to make more sense, as those Icebreaker folks were trying to persuade people to buy their product by “claiming the VNO is the pheromone receptor..”,  which I know, ” is pretty well discredited by real science.” When this claim is usually made these days, it’s usually by marketers pimping a product they know very little if anything about, not a good sign, no?

And then the clincher, when I read a well respected and knowledgeable pheromone enthusiast write;

OK, for anyone that’s interested in more information on the Icebreaker product, their claim that it contains Oxytocin had me curious enough to send out a request for information, and here’s what their marketing department had to say about dosage and content levels:

Dear XXXXX,

Thank you for your request.

As you correctly guessed, we don’t publish the exact formula. If we did, our competitors could copy it.
However we do publish the compound names that most companies will not.
What I can tell you that the total weight of all pheromone compounds is 15mg per 30ml bottle.
There is about 90 sprays per bottle. That means about 0.17mg per a spray.
The exact weight does not really matter. What does matter is how effective the formula is.

The only way to find out if that will work for you is to try it.

Again, thank you for your interest let me know if you have any other questions.

Enough said? “The only way to find out if that will work for you is to try it…” WTF!  Ya, okay, been there done that, can I have my cash back now?

The only good thing I can add is that Icebreaker’s advertising is pretty good! And they do have a decent referral program for marketers, however,  I can’t bring myself to recommend this stuff  for a commission, I would just plain feel dirty afterwords and would need a long shower.

Since I’m in so foul a mood after wasting my time with Icebreaker Pheromone Cologne, please excuse me if  I pretty much let these opinions and experiences speak for themselves, I don’t want to get to crazy with this post, just not worth it!

Pherazone Pheromone Cologne

I recently had the “pleasure” of field testing the Pherazone Pheromone Cologne. Yes, I was being sarcastic when I used the word “pleasure.” If you actually thought the days of folks peddling snake oil over the net were over, well… read on.

Pherazone is apparently a very aggressively marketed “new” pheromone cologne, claiming to boast “the most pheromones per bottle” of anything else out on the market, blah blah blah…

I’ve said it before, I will say it again, new company’s that brag about their product solely containing the most “pheromones” per bottle are making an argument that usually falls upon my deaf ears. Why? Because it is not the pheromone content that counts, but how well blended those pheromone compounds are put together, in simplistic terms of course. Certain pheromone colognes that have very high Androstenone contents for example, are well known to do practically nothing but repel people! (see Pherlure).  It’s the blend, not the amount that counts. So when I read Pherazone’s claims that;

“Reported to be the most powerful concentration of pheromones on marketplace today with a staggering 36 mg of pheromones per ounce”

I smile and ask, ya?  aha, reported by whom? And 36 mgs of what specific pheromone compounds and what proportion of each? Hello!…..Echo!!!

First of all, let me say this, Pherazone is most likely one of the more expansive pheromone colognes on the market, with a single bottle going for $98.95, which is in itself enough to make me a little suspicious. Even well tested pheromone colognes that have proven their worth over “time” do not sell for $98.95, usually not even close! So  when a new, little heard from company pops up out of no where trying to sell their new wonder product for nearly $100 bucks, I’m immediately a little suspicious right off the bat!

Luckly, I’m happy to say that my instincts are still well honed, as I found out quite promptly after ordering this stuff and giving it a number of tests in the real world, 14 field tests to be exact! I started out with one spray of this stuff to determine if, like Pherazone claimed, one single spray would;

“Just one spray of Pherazone drives women crazy!”

Needless to say, just one single spray got me virtually no results whatsoever so I quickly went up to two, and then three, and finally maxed myself out at five sprays over the course of a couple of weeks. The stuff does not smell bad or anything, it actually smell moderately pleasant, but that’s not what I paid nearly $100 bucks for, I want to see some pheromonal induced responses when I pay this kind of money for a pheromone cologne.

Without beating a dead horse here, I’m going to keep this short and to the point. I was able to observe at least 5 pheromonal induced responses over a two week period. Two were negative, at higher dosages, and 3 were positive while wearing lower dosages of Pherazone.

So did just one spray of Pherazone drive women crazy? Yeah, not even close! What impressed me the most was how weak and mild the actual responses I got were, especially while wearing a pheromone cologne boasting to contain the most pheromone content available on the market, blah blah blah…

Usually when I get positive responses do to a pheromone cologne, there is NO mistaking the fact that the ‘target’ is clearly ‘reacting’ to the pheromone cologne in question, with Pherazone, I had to wonder? Not really the sign of a good, quality pheromone product, but then again what did I expect from a little known new comer to the world of pheromone colognes trying to aggressively market a new product for nearly $100 bucks per bottle…?

Sounds like these folks are using the Pherlure strategy, sell as much as you can, as fast as you can, because once a customer uses the product he probably will NOT become a repeat customer!

And nor will I…

Pheroline Pheromone Cologne

The pheromone cologne known as Pheroline, that I recently field tested, was a rather mixed bag to say the very least. I was initially impressed with the level headed approach taken by the manufacturer of Pheroline, as they did not make any real wild or unbelievable claims to sell their product, nor did they slap this pheromone cologne with some ungodly and unreasonable price tag!

At first glance, I thought to myself there is hope here, no real marketing hype and a perfectly reasonable $49.99 price tag, with free shipping to boot!  These are usually good initial signs of a more reliable pheromone cologne. However, after receiving my new Pheroline pheromone spray, and putting it through it’s paces for a good week, well, lets just say I understand in “this” particular case why it’s going for so cheap.

Unlike some pheromone colognes that are borderline scams, such as Pherlure or Icebreaker to name but a few, Pheroline does NOT fall into this harsh category at all. The folks that produced Pheroline really did seem to try to produce a good all around, daily wear, stand alone pheromone spray! And their intention to produce a quality product was obvious by the limited results that I did observe but, compared to other quality pheromone colognes out there these days they have simply fallen short.

I was actually rather surprised by the poor results I got while field testing Pheroline, because they have included some very  potent, tried and tested pheromone compounds in their mixture. Such as Androstenone, Alpha Androstenol (not as tried and true as pure Androstenol, but still pretty close!), and even Androstadienone (which in theory is a goodie, but very few examples of quality pheromone colognes successfully utilizing this compound at the moment).  The point being, the creation of Pheroline was very BOLD! One might even call Pheroline’s creation, progressive, if it worked well that is.

This brings me to my true problem with Pheroline as it is currently blended, it simply does not work all that well. It does in fact work, on occasion, but not very consistently nor very potently. Pheroline tends to behave as a rather weak “sexual attractant,” and even weaker “social lubricator,” or if I had to compare it’s results to a superior pheromone cologne, I would have to say that Pheroline behaves as if it was the weaker ugly step child of Certo for Men. However, since Certo for Men is only a few bucks more, why would one settle for what Pheroline has to deliver? I know I wont.

In total I conducted a mere 7 field tests with Pheroline, no more were really necessary. I conducted 4 field tests in work settings, and 3 in social settings. Although, it is advertised that Pheroline is effective up to 8 hours, I would have to respectfully disagree with that assessment, perhaps 4-5 hours best case, while applying between 2 to 3 sprays maximum.

The results I were able to observe within the work place were at best, hit and miss, generating rather mild responses to the pheromone mixture, a curious look here, a passing smile there before the lady would simply move on, it was more like females were mildly, briefly, but pleasantly distracted for a moment by my presence but the mixture was not strong enough to generate much of a stronger reaction than that, as I have seen with many other quality pheromone colognes.

While field testing Pheroline during social settings the results were a little more promising, but not much. As long as I was able to stay in a relatively close proximity to a female, and I mean for at least 10 minutes or more, than I did see some slightly better results from Pheroline, but those results were still not nearly as strong as I have been accustomed to seeing with other pheromone colognes.

To say the least, while wearing Pheroline you MUST be very proactive in engaging a lady with your wit, charm, or outgoing personality (if you got one), Pheroline’s pheromonal vibe is not really strong enough to consistently motivate others to sit there and talk with you by itself, by comparison, I can splash myself with some Certo for Men and Alpha 7 Scented, and sit there pretty much like a mute in many social setting and still have women fawning all over me.

Because I have had these diverse experiences with other quality pheromone colognes, I know first hand what is possible and what can be reasonably expected in certain cases and during certain settings, and Pheroline is just simply to weak to be deemed as a consistent or reliable pheromone cologne at this time.

Nexus Pheromones

Have you heard about the Nexus Pheromones? Chances are very good you may have, as the Nexus Pheromones are very heavily marketed, and have also been around for awhile compared to some other pheromone colognes out there these days, but do they work?

Before I placed my first order of Nexus Pheromones not to long ago, I thought to myself the following, I’ve been actively using, field testing, and discussing pheromone colognes with other pheromone enthusiasts for a little over two years now, so why have not heard anything really good about the Nexus Pheromones before, especially from other experienced pheromone enthusiasts?

I now know why I have heard so little positive word of mouth feedback regarding the Nexus Pheromones. Although Nexus sells for a very reasonable $49.95 per bottle, the actual spray, from what I can determine contains some type of poorly mixed and blended Androstenone pheromone compound, cannot be said to be terribly consistent, potent, nor effective for that matter. I very quickly came to understand why every time I head the Nexus Pheromones mentioned in the past, it was mentioned in the same breath as the Pherlure pheromone cologne, this in and of itself is not a great sign.

Anyhow, in total I conducted 6 field tests on the Nexus Pheromones, I admittedly usually shoot for a minimum of 10 field tests, but when I have come across certain pheromone colognes that have shown themselves to be exceptionally poor, I’ve found it is not always necessary in such extreme cases to conduct the full 10 minimum field tests.

I conducted 4 field tests within the work environment, and an additional 2 field tests out on the town in social settings to see what the Nexus Pheromones had to offer.  Being a pheromone spray, Nexus tended to seemingly evaporate rather quickly when applied to the skin, my best guess is that it has an effective time span of perhaps 4 hours at most. The smell of the Nexus Pheromones is tolerable, I suppose it’s matter of ones tastes, but the actual smell I did not consider to be either good, nor bad.

After conducting the very first field test in the work environment it was clear to me that Nexus did contain some amount of Androstenone, probably with very little, to no other pheromone compounds included to buffer it. I was able to initially observe “extra” attention from a few older ladies in my office (in the 35+) crowd, and this would be typical of some Androstenone pheromone colognes, but even these responses were not particularly strong, while generally speaking other males were either less talkative with me, or seemed not to notice me at all this day. So I am sure there are in fact some human pheromones in this mixture at least.

As the week progressed and I conducted my 3 additional field tests in the work place with Nexus, the results were very hit and miss, at some times I was able to observe some low levels of additional interest, and then I would go for hours observing absolutely nothing out of the ordinary at all? At the conclusion of these four work place field tests, there was no mistaking the fact that I was not dealing with a real quality pheromone cologne here.

Never the less I moved on and conducted two additional field tests (on the weekend) in social settings. I wanted to place myself squarely in female company and see how they would react, or not react, to the Nexus Pheromones. During both additional field tests I was able to observe very minimal additional attention from ladies in close proximity to me. Other than receiving a brief look of interest perhaps two times, and 3 other ladies commenting upon my smell positively, no other observations more dramatic than that were forthcoming.

I can’t sit here and completely knock the Nexus Pheromones, it is what it is, a older, cheap, and by “todays standards” a largely ineffective pheromone cologne, in short the Nexus Pheromones is a relic of the past when the pheromone industry was still largely stumbling in the dark while trying put together a quality cologne that actually worked. Unfortunately, for the Nexus Pheromones, other folks have since moved on and left them behind in the dust.

Pure Instinct Pheromone

If you have not heard of Pure Instinct then you really need to pay attention here. The Pure Instinct Pheromone is a rather cheaply priced unisex pheromone oil that is heavily marketed to be a strong “attractant” oriented product. Of course, as is often the case, the truth about the Pure Instinct Pheromone is much different than what is actually being widely marketed out there.

The Pure Instinct Pheromone does actually contain some small amounts of human pheromones, this I will not dispute, however the quantities of what I assume to be small amounts of Androstenone, as well as Androstenol, are included in such small quantities as to make the Pure Instinct Pheromone one of the weakest currently available on the market, thus the extremely low price.

This being said, let me digress, the Pure Instinct Pheromone, does contain small quantities of human pheromones, and it also does in fact smell very well! I was actually very impressed by the smell alone of Pure Instinct, and intend to keep a bottle around to primarily use as a cover scent, but certainly not to use it as a primary wear pheromone oil.  The smell of Pure Instinct is very sweet, I liken it to a fruity bubble gum smell almost, the smell itself is quite pleasing. However, I will not utilize the Pure Instinct Pheromone for the purposes of solo use to attract the opposite sex by itself, it’s just to weak to be deemed an effective pheromone product for such a purpose.

The Pure Instinct Pheromone is one of those relatively new pheromone oils that have been aggressively marketed to the new crowd of folks who quite frankly, don’t know much at all about real pheromones, nor what true quality pheromone products are actually capable of doing. I have seen many folks get hung up on the pleasing smell of Pure Instinct, and the fact that it DOES actually produce some VERY MILD reactions from the opposite sex, and many think this is great. To a degree it is great! So long as you do not actually compare Pure Instinct with a true quality and potent pheromone cologne or perfume.

Pure Instinct is what it is, a great introductory pheromone oil for folks that are looking to get their feet a little wet in the world of pheromones, but have not actually stepped up to use the powerful stuff yet! In the world of human pheromone products for instance, for men,  pheromone colognes such as The Scent of Eros for Men or Alpha 7 Scented can and have been described as being the Cadillac of pheromone colognes! While by direct comparison, the Pure Instinct Pheromone would have to be compared to a Moped! The difference is truly that glaring! As many of these quality potent pheromone colognes are probably close to 100 times more powerful than the Pure Instinct Pheromone.

The same holds equally true when comparing the Pure Instinct Pheromone against the existing quality pheromone perfumes for women currently performing well in the market. Women who like the smell of Pure Instinct and even enjoy some mild results are simply blown away when they trade up to the more heavy duty pheromone perfumes, such as The Scent of Eros for Women, or especially Primal Instinct for Women, to name but a few…And this point had to be made at the insistence of MY better half,  who is currently ready to deplete my bottle of Pure Instinct as she loves the smell.

To make a long story short, one simply cannot with a straight face even, compare the Pure Instinct Pheromone to other quality pheromones currently on the market, the product is simply to weak to even have a fighting chance…But it does smell very good though! It would be much more appropriate to compare the Pure Instinct Pheromone against the Marilyn Miglin Pheromone for instance, even though the Marilyn Miglin Pheromone has NO pheromones contained within it, the results of the two products are nearly the same….Nearly.

All this being said, and it had to be said do to so much of the mis-information floating around out there concerning Pure Instinct, I still put this stuff to the test for a whole week. I conducted 5 field tests in the work setting and another 2 field tests in social settings, and simply documented my observations.

To cut to the chase, I received a plethora of compliments from women, all complimenting me on the smell of “whatever” I was wearing that day. So I’m convinced the smell of the Pure Instinct Pheromone is pleasing to others as well as to me, but the number of true pheromone induced obvious responses was extremely low, both at work and in social settings. Yes, I enjoyed getting the compliments on the smell, but…

What can I say, the results generated from Pure Instinct are very mild to say the least, and the worst responses I got were actually in social settings, as I guess the Pure Instinct was not strong enough to really compete with the natural pheromone output of some of the younger men around me, therefore the ladies were giving me very little love, they would briefly acknowledge me with some interest at first, and then be quickly distracted by the hot younger waiter or bartender in the vicinity! And this brings me to my point and is the cause of my assessment, it’s too weak! Had I been wearing my Alpha 7 Scented or god forbid my NPA for Men I would have kept these ladies attention on me the whole night!

Anyhow, is the Pure Instinct Pheromone a bad pheromone oil based product? No, not at all! So long as you know what it’s really good for, which is to be used as a nice smelling cover scent, just remember to include a more potent quality pheromone cologne or perfume to actually generate the ATTRACTION part of the equation, because the Pure Instinct Pheromone won’t do that job by itself….Not even close.

Attract RX

Attract Rx is a rather unique product in that it is not a pheromone cologne or perfume, but rather Attract-Rx is a pheromone releaser contained in tablet form which must be injected by the user, essentially like a normal vitamin tablet.

While initially researching Attract RX, one thing that gave me a moment of pause was these folks rather bi-polar marketing approach. In essence, Attract RX goes out of it’s way to convince folks that pheromone colognes essentially do not work, or more specifically that their is no scientific proof positive evidence that they do in fact work, an assertion which is rather out of date by the way, but the Attract RX folks clearly have not updated their sales page in a while and current research has passed them by to a degree.

However, what really amused me is that after claiming that pheromone colognes couldn’t possibly work, they then strongly recommend that the perspective purchaser purchase their pills along with a pheromone cologne like product called Trust Enhancer for best results?

At this point I was rather amused. Attract RX wants me to believe that pheromone colognes don’t work, that I have to take their pills, but wait, for best results buy their pheromone cologne? As I said, rather obsolete and bi-polar marketing has been put out by Attract RX, but never the less I was still interested enough in their product to give it a shot, so I did order 1 bottle of Attract-RX $82.94, along with their magical Trust Enhancer for a mere $107.94…Ya, if you know me from reading this blog, obviously I’m now waiting to see a REAL return on my investment after forking over $190.88 to properly utilize ONE pheromone product like Attract-RX!

I must admit, even before I started using Attract RX I was a little bit skeptical, especially after learning what this pheromone releaser’s key ingredients in fact were, what in Attract RX ?

“ATTRACT RX contains a unique proprietary blend of potent natural herbs including L-Arginine HCI, L-Glutamine, L-Isoleucine, L-Leucine, L-Lysine, L-Omithine HCL, L-Valine, Colostrum, Vitamin B-6, GABA, Glycine and Tribulus Terrestris.”

Now I’ve been into the whole vitamin thing for sometime now, and I have seen positive results! However, the vitamins contained in Attract RX would quite simply be a heck of lot cheaper to get if I simply went to the local pharmacy and got them on my own, this is certainly not $82.94 worth of vitamins or amino acids? Not to mention, that the only compound that could even remotely effect something like testosterone production would be Tribulus, it’s unknown if the Attract RX folks included enough to actually make a real difference? On a positive note, if you are looking to get these vitamins into your system there is an easy fix, simply drink LOTS of Milk, yup thats right….Milk!

Hmmmm….Perhaps this is why they recommend you also buy their Trust Enhancer spray? Anyhow, upon receipt I started popping their recommended 3 tablets per day, this basically means that one bottle will last you 1 month. So while I was waiting for this stuff to build up in my system, I was curious about what Attract RX recommended to further optimize my results with their “product.” They had plenty to say on this matter!

“Yes, while taking Attract-Rx™, we do recommend that you maintain a healthy, active lifestyle for optimum results. Specifically, we suggest a balanced diet coupled with regular cardiovascular exercise and strength training. We also suggest that you eliminate use of all tobacco products, as this can inhibit pheromone production and mask the scent itself. Maintain clean, fresh breath – always. Brush your teeth several times a day and floss nightly, and use breath fresheners in between brushings. Finally, if you drink alcohol, we recommend that you do so in moderation. Not only will a healthy lifestyle maximize the effectiveness of Attract-Rx™, it will also help you to look better, feel better and improve your confidence.”

Did you guys get all that? For optimum results with Attract RX, basically you need start eating healthy, work out at the gym like a mad man and bulk up, oh and by the way, stop smoking and drinking, and brush your teeth to keep your breath fresh….Really?

Call me crazy, but if I was willing to do all that, I think I could get very good results with women without Attract RX at all? But still good advice, thanks!

Anyhow, for the next 3 weeks I went on a crash course, hit the gym again almost every day, pumped my iron again, and even cut down my smoking by 75%, which is huge for me! As I said, the advice is actually good for anyone, so I decided to take some of it. After about two weeks of this I wanted to know when this stuff would start doing something, the pills at least? Attract RX also provided guidance on this;

“Attract-Rx™ will start working immediately, but it may take up to 2 weeks for results to become overwhelmingly evident. This will depend on your current levels of pheromone production and secretion as well as your level of close interaction with others. Within a short period of time, you will begin to receive additional attention from the opposite sex.”

After about three weeks of this regimen I put myself on, I then decided to venture out into the world for the purpose of testing Attract RX, except this time I included the use of their Trust Enhancer, using their recommended 2 to 3 sprays each time, usually before various sales calls I had to make in person with female clients and what not.

So what did I observe?

I’m not entirely sure what I was observing at this time, yes, I seemed to get slightly better receptions from females, and conversation seemed to flow a little bit better, but was that because of Attract RX, or their Trust Enhancer, or because I had been busting my butt in the gym for three weeks prior testing this stuff?  It’s hard to tell. However, at best the results that I did get from females I would have to describe as “MILD” at best.

So $190.88 later, I’m seeing very mild amount of more attention from females, and I’m also in pain from lifting weights and craving a smoke, this is not what I had in mind at all, but I can’t say the stuff doesn’t totally work, it just doesn’t work as well “by itself” as those evil pheromone colognes that Attract Rx seems to not like much.

All I know is that when I was out of shape, a tad over weight, and still smoked a pack a day I got overwhelmingly better results when I slapped on some Alpha 7 Scented, then I have yet to see from Attract Rx.  However, I will say this about their Trust Enhancer spray which goes for a mere $107.94, I was not impressed with it at all, at BEST it’s a cheap and poorly blended imitation of Vero Lab’s Liquid Trust, which sells for a tad under $30 bucks if I remember right.

I will thank Attract Rx for motivating me to get off my butt and actually use the gym membership that’s mysteriously billed to my credit card every month, but for other than that, I’ll stick with the real stuff, proven quality pheromone colognes.

Human Euphoria

At some point you may or may not have heard about the Human Euphoria pheromone cologne, or at least ran across these folks advertisements. Human Euphoria pheromone cologne is simply a rather cheap, rather unsophisticated Androstenone and Androstenol based pheromone spray, produced by a manufacturer that does not even specialize in pheromones.

In short, Human Euphoria appears to be a mass produced, cheaper, lower quality pheromone cologne thrown into the market in an attempt to profit from the inexperience of newbies to the world of pheromones.

It’s all good, I won’t hate on these folks for this, especially since 1 bottle only goes for $49.95, at least they are not totally exploiting folks out there to badly, as I have seen done in the past. Anyhow, since I heard very little about Human Euphoria, nothing negative, nor positive for that matter, coughed up the dough for a bottle and put it through it’s paces as I do all the others I’ve played around with.

Human Euphoria is not to clear about the exact amounts of Androstenone, nor Androstenol contained within it’s mixture, but from my early initial results, it became pretty clear that Human Euphoria is heavy on the Androstenol, with small amounts of Androstenone thrown in intending to induce a more sexual vibe from folks already made friendly and chatty by the -nol.

Although the folks that produce Human Euphoria maintain that the effects of this product lasts an incredible 8-10 hours, I found that to be far from the case. The effects at best were most prevalent between the 4-5 hour mark, perhaps on occasion to as much as 6 hours maximum. But on a positive note, the smell of Human Euphoria I thought to be personally pleasing, it’s a matter of taste though however, I did fall back to wearing Human Euphoria with a cover scent, I utilized Eternity for Men for this purpose, but you could get away with wearing no cover scent at all if one chose.

I opted to field test Human Euphoria in both the work place as well as in social settings, wearing it into work for a week and then during my customary social encounters on the weekend, amounting to a total of 7 days worth of field tests with this one. No need to drag out this particular assessment, the results of my field tests both in the work place and outside of the work place did strongly suggest to me that Human Euphoria does actually contain human pheromones, and does to a degree actually work!

Human Euphoria demonstrated itself to be a rather soft pheromone spray, capable of producing very mild responses from females around me, precisely a little more friendliness, chattiness, accompanied by a very mild sexual attraction vibe. In other words, the stuff works, but is very weak! Although the actual results were not as consistent as usually like to see, they were consistent enough to produce intermittent ‘hits’ or ‘responses’ from others during the week of field testing.

So is Human Euphoria any good?

I suppose it really depends upon what your looking for in a pheromone cologne or pheromone spray? Personally, I felt the overall effects of Human Euphoria were far to weak and mild to justify continued use, but thats just me.  By comparison, Human Euphoria seemed to behave as a much, much weaker version of the Scent of Eros for Men or Certo for Men, so given Human Euphoria’s price tag, I would personally just opt to use the stronger stuff that produces more consistent results.

That being said, I could also understand why some folks might want to keep a bottle around, not me, but someone might for various purposes. Human Euphoria does seem to be a legit pheromone spray, just not a very powerful one.

CP28 Pheromone Spray

The CP28 Pheromone Spray is the latest human pheromone product to make it onto our wall of shame. However, I must admit that what CP28 lacks in quality, it does to some extent make up for in it’s extremely low price. But then again, I suppose you do get what you pay for?

The exact mixture used in CP28 pheromone spray is unknown, nor is it made public, but I would guess that it is a rather unsophisticated blend of Androstenone and other un-named pheromone compounds. The stuff does have a rather pleasing scent to it, nothing to write home about, but the smell is not one of CP28’s negatives.

The CP28 folks of course like many others claim that this pheromone spray is the greatest thing since sliced bread, and that 2-3 sprays of the stuff will attract women for about 4-5 hours. Needless to say, I disagree with both claims. Yes, 2-3 sprays of CP28 is probably about the normal dosage most should use, however at best CP28 is most effective for about 3 hours, if that.

The true problem that I noticed with CP28 was not it’s duration, but the fact that the actual pheromone blend utilized is so unsophisticated and weak that CP28 is simply unable to produce the advertised results with any consistency whatsoever. Other than the mildly pleasing smell, CP28 rarely produced any ‘hits’ from females worth mentioning, and this held true while wearing lower, and even higher dosages of this CP28 pheromone spray.

So what does CP28 do?

Because of the interest in CP28 I did feel it was worth while to put this pheromone spray through its paces, and therefore did field test it for a 1 week period of time, I simply wore CP28 in the work place, as well as at a couple of social settings and waited to observe the reactions from others.

The observations I was able to make at the workplace were mixed, but what one might expect from a lower quality blend of Androstenone. Typically, I would see that male co-workers would either pretty much ignore me, or more frequently be slightly annoyed or even hostile towards me, this was especially true while testing higher dosages of CP28. But more often then not, there was simply no real observable response at all.

As far as responses from females in the workplace with CP28, this pheromone spray was much more consistent with the opposite sex, in ‘not’ producing desirable effects nor attraction, I tended to be avoided, or noticed that certain females behaved as if they were intimidated by me while wearing CP28.  However, two females over the course of this week did show mild ‘interest’ while wearing lower dosages of this pheromone spray, but the level of attraction seemed to be so weak it was hardly notable.

The last two days of my field testing of CP28 consisted of one low dose and one high dose day in social settings. On the low dose day I observed absolutely no response from females at all, but then again I was in a restaurant/bar and was surrounded by other males whose natural pheromone output was probably kicking the heck out of CP28’s pheromone output! Therefore, while wearing lower dosages in this setting  it was like wearing nothing at all.

The last day of my social field testing was at a similar locale, however this time I went heavy with the CP28 pheromone spray, applying 5 generous sprays, 1 to each wrist, 1 to each side of the neck, and 1 spray to the front of my neck. I must say that even in a social setting and being surrounded by competing males, I was able to observe some additional interest from females in close proximity to me, but only so long as they stayed close to me for a substantial amount of time, like 10-15 minutes! However, of the two females who were close by, and stuck around for this time frame, the level of interest/or attraction was low to mild at best! They were clearly not drawn in by the pheromone vibe projected by CP28 to any strong degree, but it was working, just not all that well!

My final thoughts on the CP28 Pheromone Spray are thus, if you are on a real, real tight budget and can only afford like $15 for a pheromone spray, go for it, just keep in mind you WILL get what you pay for with this one.

Athena Pheromone

The Athena Pheromone, otherwise known as the Athena Pheromone 10X for Men, has been the subject of so many mixed reviews and misconceptions over the years that I could not resist putting it to the test myself. Having concluded my testing on the Athena Pheromone, it now finds it’s proper home here, on the wall of shame.

Before I get into the field test results, lets talk a little bit about what the Athena Pheromone actually is. Athena Pheromone 10X is purportedly a pheromone additive designed to be added to ones normal favorite cologne, not directly applied to the person in it’s pure form.

The Athena Pheromone 10X comes with a rather small bottle of this ‘pheromone concentrate,’ and is quite easily mixed and added into nearly any normal cologne, the purpose being to “super charge” the normal cologne and thus turn it into a pheromone cologne. I must admit that I was not thrilled about the prospect of spending a mere $99.50 on this Athena Pheromone additive, but curiosity simply got the best of me on this one. Keep in mind, the Athena Pheromone has been around for quite sometime, hitting the market back around the mid to late 1990’s, but yet information regarding it’s performance is hard to find for some odd reason.

What is in the Athena Pheromone? The truth be told we really have no idea what is inside the Athena Pheromone 10X for Men, the pheromone compounds and proportions are a tightly guarded secret of Athena, we must simply take their word for it that it does contain actual human pheromones, as these folks are more tight lipped about the ingredients than most other pheromone companies out there.

Anyhow, after taking receipt of my nice new bottle of Athena Pheromone additive, I opted to mix it in with one of may favorite colognes, the Eternity for Men, just a personal preference, to each there own. I mixed and blended the Athena Pheromone per their instructions, and then prepared to put it through my now semi standard initial 1 week field testing cycle.

I began my field testing of Athena on a Monday morning, work! I walked in as normal after generously applying my Athena Pheromone spiked Eternity for Men, and prepared to observe whatever reactions would be forthcoming…Lets now skip ahead to Thursday of the same week, I am still going to work waiting to observe whatever reactions may come…Still nothing? Well, now I’m getting a little concerned, rarely have I used a pheromone cologne for 4 straight days and not seen even one single reaction, not a good one, or even a bad reaction! I just wanted to observe something!

I got home Thursday night after 4 days of failed field tests and did some additional research on this so called Athena Pheromone, wanting to make sure I didn’t do “something” wrong? Scattered around the web I did find some curt comments concerning the Athena Pheromone from other users posted here and there years ago, such as;

“I got sucked in. This was one of the first pheromones I ever tried. I bought all the hype and really wanted it to work. A little later I discovered APC. It was a miracle compared to Athena 10X, and it’s considered little more than a cologne on this site. When I realized the product was a scam I tried to get my money back and got a big run-around instead.”

Needless to say I was a tad bit discouraged after finding that piece of information, but I still had 3 more days of field testing left so I decided to push on, even after reading the comments of another previous Athena Pheromone user who suggested;

“The Athena insert says “Some men report observing its effects after three days while others report results after 4-6 weeks of use. ” Like I said before, maybe my age had somehting to do with it ’s taking four weeks to show effects…”

Now I’m not too optimistic, I’m thinking I’ve already been testing this stuff for 4 days and have seen no results, but now Athena claims some guys see no results for 4-6 weeks! Damn, I should have read the insert first! My second thought was of course, “how could that even be?” A true pheromone cologne or additive that takes 4-6 weeks to actually kick in? I’ve personally seen the Scent of Eros for Men kick in within about 4-6 seconds, and I’ve seen other pheromone colognes easily take between 10-15 minutes before they induced blatantly obvious and in some cases embarrassing responses from women, but my God, 4-6 weeks! How is that even possible?

That’s not a rhetorical question folks, if someone can please explain to me how a “real” pheromone cologne can take 4-6 weeks of continued use before one sees results, please leave a comment, I’d LIKE TO KNOW MYSELF!

And then last but not least I read one gentleman’s comment regarding the Athena Pheromone that really made my heart drop when he quipped;

“I used Athena for about 4 months and then just threw the bottle away. Didn’t do a thing for me.”

Yes, well right about this time I’m basically kissing the $99.50 good bye, but I decided to at least continue the last three days of field testing with the Athena Pheromone.

Of course, with my luck what do I have to report, the same as the first 4 days of testing, Friday at work yielded no responses, with the same finding while out socially on Friday and Saturday night, just plain nothing?

At this point, I simply threw the stuff away…Done!

Folks, if I am personally going to spend $99.50 for a pheromone cologne, or pheromone additive, no one better dare tell me that I must wait 4-6 weeks or 4-6 months before I start seeing any pheromonal induced results from the opposite sex! I see no point in wasting time with a pheromone product that performs this weakly, not when others can do in seconds what the Athena Pheromone apparently can’t do in a full week!

Have you heard of PherX? Chances are very good you may have stumbled across some pretty sophisticated marketing put out by PherX, as their efforts are starting to rival some other well known dubious pheromones such as Pherlure, and IceBreaker. Usually, when I see such efforts expended to market a pheromone cologne put out by the producer, it gives me a moment of pause, only because most of the time the heavy marketing push is needed to make up for the short comings of the actual product in the pheromone world, was PherX any different?

Never the less the fact that the PherX folks seem to be aggressively marketing their pheromone cologne was not enough to convince me that the stuff was either bad, or good for that matter, so I opted to proceed with the field testing of this pheromone cologne to see for myself what the marketing hype was really all about.

PherX very loosely and subtly bills itself to be an Androstadienone based pheromone cologne, although they are not real keen on revealing all the ingredients (pheromone compounds) that they use in PherX, they do disclose that PherX is in fact an Androstadienone Pheromone Cologne. So what does this mean? Very simply, current research and documentation strongly suggests that Androstadienone (otherwise known and referred to as A1), tends to induce the following;

“Androstadienone, more commonly known as A1, is a very popular pheromone within the pheromone community. One of it’s more remarkable effects is that it can elevate a woman’s mood, and even alleviate PMS stress! It has been known to increase intimacy and comfort, and can also increase caring feelings. It has been called the “love pheromone” because of the nature of the feelings and reactions it induces in women, and also because of it’s usefulness in more cozy relationship situations.”

It is completely worth mentioning that not many pheromone colognes successfully utilize A1 (Androstadienone) in their mixes, although many knowledgeable pheromone enthusiasts do mix up their own concoctions using A1 with some success. The only quality pheromone cologne that quickly comes to mind that has successfully mixed and utilized A1 into their formula is the globally well known Pheromax for Men, a very very powerful, well blended and proven German made pheromone cologne.  This being the case, I was very curious to see how PherX could compete, especially at the low end price of $29.95 per bottle!

Before I get into the actual field test results, lets take a look at some of PherX’s marketing….I mean, research material.

I love that video clip! Lets take four pretty people who could probably do amateur modelling and let them test out a pheromone cologne and perfume, yeah, that’s representative of the normal population at large, sure!  Anyhow, they did not get into the actual mechanics of their testing to much during this video clip, which is really unfortunate!

It would have been very nice to actually see how these women responded to the dude wearing the pheromone cologne, were they simply more relaxed around him, did they feel more comfortable around him, or were they blatantly sexual frustrated or attracted to him? It would have also been nice to see the same test done, except with two male twins who are perhaps middle aged, balding, and a few pounds over weight, not model quality young men who probably could go without a pheromone cologne anyhow, but I digress…

I opted to field test PherX over the course of 1 work week, which has become my norm these days, wearing PherX for 5 days in the workplace, and then out socially on Friday and Saturday nights to assess it’s potency.

I must admit, that while using PherX at the workplace I did see some initial results almost immediately! So long as I was able to stay in the close proximity of a female co-worker for at least 10-15 minutes straight, I did observe a very mild calming effect induced in nearby women, it seemed as if certain women were just a little more relaxed and comfortable around me, which is not a bad thing! The effect was rather short lived, the duration per application seemed to be somewhere in the 3-4 hour range, but the effect induced was noticeable.

So far as receiving and type of blatant signs of “sexual attraction,” or even “sexual interest,” PherX was an Epic Fail on this point, I observed no such interest of this type over the course of all five days in the work place, women were relaxed and comfortable around me, but seemed to have no such desire to actually act upon any sort of “attraction.”

I decided to push on with the field testing as perhaps these ladies showed no outward signs of interests at work precisely because we were at work, and clearly PherX was not potent enough to push them to respond un-appropriately in this type of setting?

The end of the week came and it was time to field test PherX in a more social setting, out on the town with friends, and female friends of friends. I wen’t a little heavier with the PherX this time as I would be in a more crowded and open locale, often times surrounded by many younger men reeking of natural human pheromones! Judging by PherX’s lack of potency in the workplace, I was not optimistic PherX could compete in such a setting?

Needless to say, I was ultimately correct. During my field test on both Friday and Saturday nights, I consistently found that wearing PherX out on the town was about as effective as simply carrying a Rabbits foot and hoping women would pay attention, the stuff is just not powerful enough to counter act the pheromonal signatures of others parading around the same establishments all night. Sure, a few of these ladies I was out with were more relaxed around me, which was nice, but when some younger and rather ugly buck would simply walk over a steal one of them away with 5 seconds of effort, I was left asking myself to whose benefit did I get these women relaxed and comfortable for? Not mine! Thanks PherX!

Anyhow, PherX does not get high marks from me only because it is simply way too weak and impotent! Sure, the guy in the video clip might have had some success, but added 10 years and 40 pounds to him and see if he can compete in dance club with PherX and I think you’d see a very different little movie being played!

I do realize that part of my problem could be simply that I’ve used to many different pheromone colognes, quality pheromone colognes as well as outright scams, but I know the signs of the “good stuff!” And this ain’t it! PherX is simply a the poor man’s version of Pheromax for Men, a cheap knock off if you will! Even at $29.95 I would not buy another bottle of PherX personally, but if I was looking for very similar quality pheromone cologne that will allow one to be the guy pulling the lady from the nightclub, and not sitting there watching that occur, I would reach for Pheromax for Men without a second thought!
